New York South — that's what some prominent folks are calling St. Bart's this Christmas.

And that's because so many Manhattan celebs are vacationing on the tiny French Caribbean island, including Martha Stewart, Jon Bon Jovi, Arista's Clive Davis, powerhouse attorney Allen Grubman, art dealer Mary Boone and designer Nicole Miller. Sony's Tommy Mottola is due tomorrow.

Even Michael Caine, fresh from his Golden Globe best actor nomination for his new movie, "Little Voice," is there on the scene, and he's spending most of his time cruising on the young J. Paul Getty's massive yacht.

"The man has style, what can I say?" said Brenda Blethyn, the Globes' best supporting actress nominee, also for "Little Voice," when I told her what Caine was doing for the holidays.

"I have the flu," she said from London, "so St. Bart's does sound terribly appealing."

A third "Little Voice" nominee, Jane Horrocks (best actress), didn't agree. "It's jolly nice that Michael is there," she said, "but I've been to St. Bart's and I'm not terribly impressed with it."
