Commercional or a Masterpiece?
One the best albums ever?
1. I BELIEVE
A great intro, very modern and powerful. But Jons voice is more powerful than the intro. A good opener, not for Live-concerts, because there's too much technic. rate: 8/10
2. KEEP THE FAITH
A song everybody knows. So modern, lyrically top and with strong guitars...one of the best (THE BEST?)songs, BJ ever made. It doesnt need more words. rate: 10/10
3. I'LL SLEEP WHEN I'M DEAD
A happy song, good rock'n'roll. It sounds like a mixture of The Rolling Stones with Aerosmith. But I think this song's maybe made for "New Jersey" or "Slippery" not for the modern "Keep the Faith". rate: 7/10
4. IN THESE ARMS
A typical BJ-Lovesong. So emotional, powerful and strong. Well, what's more to say. the first sentence did it all.

5. BED OF ROSES
The best ballad BON JOVI ever wrote. It's poethic, and a perfect mix of Rocksong and Lovesong. Power meets Emotion. The Bon Jovi all-time classic, i think. rate: 10/10
6. IF I WAS YOUR MOTHER
Heavy-Metal at it's best. So scurrile, hard and fast, but it just won't fit in the whole album. I like it very much, but i can imagine some people will hate it. rate: 8/10
7. DRY COUNTY
Epic. Powerful. Long. Excellent. THE BEST BONJOVI SONG EVER!
Ten minutes full of tragedy, hope and death ("If i could choose the way day i die...."). The lyrics are the best JB ever wrote! GREAT! rate: 10/10
8. WOMAN IN LOVE
A Rocksong, with lyrics just like a lovesong. Just like "I believe", it's very modern, and that's what i like at this song. But it isn't very special at all.... rate: 6/10
9. FEAR
Look at "If I was your mother". "Fear"'s the same. Heavy, loud, and scurille, modern, too. "Mother" and "Fear" are the two songs i've never expected from Bon Jovi. Not the same as all the other Songs, so special....... rate: 7/10
10. I WANT YOU
Lovesong, just like "In these arms". But i like "Arms" more. It's got more Power, and this one's got more emotion.
Choose what you like more. rate:7/10
11. BLAME IT ON THE LOVE OF ROCK'N'ROLL
It sounds like it is. Loud, very loud. And again, the typical BJ-Mix. Heavy/Hard meets Rock'n'Roll. And again a song that i would like to be placed on "Slippery" or "New Jersey". rate: 8/10
12. LITTLE BIT OF SOUL
If you want to relax, listen to it. But in the end it's a good rock'n'roll song, but with more guitars. rate: 7/10
13. SAVE A PRAYER (not included on US-Version)
The intro ist best freestyle in R'n'R. And then the technic begins to work. It fits perfectly in this album. If all tracks were so modern, "Keep the Faith" were a Milestone in history of Rock. rate: 9/10
All in all, it's the most modern album BJ made. And the 2nd best. With two or three Megahits and Milestones.
