well yes, letīs face the truth that itīs not the year 1986 anymore. bon jovi has grown and you can notice it especially from their lyrics. they donīt wear those silly pants or use eye-liner anymore. they donīt have long hair or anything like that from those early years. the fact is that itīs the year 2000 now and the music has chanced.
thel, your point of view is quite negative. who sais that itīs got to be like that? who sais that they wanted make another slippery when wet? maybe they just wanted to keep themselfs together and make some good rock music. jon himself told that living in the 80īs wasnīt as nice as you can imagine. they didnīt have families and homes. all they had was their career, suitcases and guitars. all changed when they found new opportunities. jon became an actor, tico started painting...
and now when theyīre back on the road again, it feels so good. theyīre making some good old rockīnīroll. no, itīs not as good as it used to be but the most important thing is that they wonīt disapoint fans. i think crush is amazing because of that.
