"Power Station Years" Review 12 October 2000
HOLLYWOOD DREAMS

good stuff

A review by Steve bongiovino fugazzi / fugazzi@ireland.com

l've the honour to be first one to review this album.
My album features 20 songs written by jon and co-wrote by jim polles and george karaglou. it features the instrumental version of RUNAWAY.

-who said it would last forever
-open your heart
-stringin' a line
-don't leave me tonight
-more than we bargained for
-for you
- hollywood dreams
-all talk, no action
-don't keep me wondering
-head over heels
-no one does it like you
-what you want
-don't believe him
-talkin' in your sleep
-bobby's girl
- don't do that to me anymore
-this woman is dangerous
-maybe tomorrow
-runaway(instrumental version).

it's not as popular as the other jon's solo projects but in my opinion it his his best.

the most significative track is ''hollywood dreams''. jon had a dream back to the early 1980s: to be an actor. this dream became true.

l also like nearly all the songs of this album.
my favourite are: who said it would last forever, stringin' a line, hollywood dreams, talkin' in your sleep, don't do that to me anymore, this woman is dangerous, maybe
tomorrow and -of course- runaway.

Rating: 9/10
