the end of the 1st oasis gig i saw when they played live forever and all these quotes and comments came up ont he screens and faded back into a picture that turned out to be john lennon was pretty prolific and then liam bowed down to it.

getting onstage with iggy pop at gig onthe green was pretty cool too. mad looking out to the horizon and still seeing the crowd.

been tonnes more cool stuff like hanging out with folk from bands and getting backstage and stuff but those r 2 that stand out.

strange as it may seem, slow emotive songs are alot easier to write than fast party songs for a coupla reaons.

biggest 2 being that you're actually feelin exactly what you're writing about and for my at least it usually just pours out which is alot harder than writing about everythign being fine and having fun

and seocondly. it's alot easier to sound sincere singing about somethign serious wherea ssinging about going on the ran dan and pulling girls means you're constantly worryign about it sounding stupid and cheesy.

my favourite cocktail is a house one from one of my favourite pubs up thew town. their cocktails dont actually have names. you just ask for a blue or yellow or red or green cocktail.

i dont even think they have proper ingredients since everyoen seems to put different stuff in but a guy called andy sticks in just about every shot theyve got and it still ends up drinkable. lovely.

i saw keane last year supporting the thrills. i was expecting the worst when only a keys player, drummer and singer came onstage but they have some bass loops going on and the song writing is top class. no guitars in sight whatsoever which strangely enough is quite refreshing.

wish id bought an album back at that gig cos i knew they'd go somewhere but i never thought they'd be getting as much publicity as this. their going to hit 1 or 2 on the album chart this week. think they're heading to the states soon to so keep an eye out for them.

so ive got financial markets and finalcal accounts next week which im not studying for

macroeconomics next saturday (yup you read it right saturday ****in mornin)

and qab the week after.

Now i plan to do social sciences and go into teaching modern studies (fancy word for high school politics) now 1st social science has economics. now i passed microeconomics last semester so if i pass macro this one it means i can skip it in social sciences nespa?

well I'm one of those prats that has been blessed with the ability to do well academically without really trying. i never properly studied for 1 exam in high school and still managed to be one of the top 5 pupils in the school and even got the highest score int he whole of scotland for standatd grade accounts and finance so I've never felt the need

AND as i say. im leaving accounts. i dont need anything at all. i dont even need to sit the exams but i may as well see how i do.

I was talking to my best mate tonight about it all and i said man for the 1st time in about 3 years I've not had anything planned or laid out in front of me and I'm the most relaxed and carefree as i've been since then.

it's wierd like i should be worrying cos im kinda without a purpose or cause just now but i genuinely dont care because i see it for all its worth and it isnt worth worrying about. to think people hang themselves for failing exams and stuff is madness to me.

told my mate too if i hadn't got back with ashlea I wouldnt even be here cos id have got my money out of the bank, packed up and headed somewhere far away and i can honestly say I would have. Up until a few months ago I thought i was destined to be stuck behind a desk doing accounts for other people for life not ever really doing anything and now I realise why my brother is so into running gigs. it's freedom. he's not exactly making a bomb but it's just the life that you don't need to worry about it.

no denyign iw ill have to down the line but i'll worry about it then but even if i dont get into another uni course im sure i'll just bounce onto the next little thing life throws at me.
