I did ask a question. I asked what my choice should be as I am going to the pre-judging.

ANd no, we are not judging the calendar - we are selecting the guys that should be IN the calendar! :P

I do like wine a lot actually, but not when I go out - wine glasses are so awkward on the bar - I like beerbottles a lot better.

so what is my drink of choice on Thursday?

Jim Bon Jovi
05-26-2004, 02:53 AM
well since most european beers (with the exception of zipfer and nastro azzuro) are vile when bottled then I'd suggest some good old Miller genuine. seriously. it's not great but you can do much worse too. and you can drink it like juice.

it's disgusting looking at men as sexual objects and not real people. thats what women are for

V true?

spunkywho
05-26-2004, 02:59 AM
  NO! Besides, I believe there are a couple of female fire fighters as well (at least there were last year).

... and I cannot believe you suggest TO ME to drink Miller  sheesh - you should know me better by now.

does sex sell?

Jim Bon Jovi
05-26-2004, 03:01 AM
it does indeed. and why not? :)

V is prostitution filthy?

spunkywho
05-26-2004, 03:08 AM
no, not filthy. Face it, it is the only way for some people to get laid. Though, I do feel very sorry for the girls, particularly the ones working on the street - not the Heidi Fleiss type girls of course.

should prostitution be legal?

Jim Bon Jovi
05-26-2004, 03:11 AM
Well in a perfect world it would stop all the seedy shit going on, get rid of the pimps and the girls would all be clean but I seriously doubt that would happen.

It should be regulated, have proper places to go and do it discretely, not have girls hassling you walking round the streets asking if you want any business.

I'd like to think it;'s not filthy but I have a couple of mates who went to some out of nothing more than laziness because they can all pull and one of them had to tell the girl to put a condom on him before she gave him a blow and Im like.... should that not set of a little alarm saying maybe she shouldnt be doing that if Im worried about picking somethign up off her....

V ever used one? :P

spunkywho
05-26-2004, 03:19 AM
ever used one? ever used a condom? Why of course.

so "street prostitution" should be done away with, but not "escort services"?

Jim Bon Jovi
05-26-2004, 03:23 AM
well yeah. I dunno about seattle, but we've got a red light district and it's ****ing horrible to walk through at night. this gig we've got on thursday is pretty much in the middle of it actually.

If you want to do it, go somewhere private and by that i dont mean up an aleey, in a car or in a park.

sayign that, it would end the imensly popular game of "prossie spotting" where youd rive around seeing who can find the most pro's.

ive actually got a pretty vile prossie spotting story but i dunno if it would suit here.

V wanna hear it?

spunkywho
05-26-2004, 03:38 AM
of course I do - though I had no idea this was a sport

Stuff like this doesn't happen around the bars in Seattle - cops are out all the time.

are there that many loosers in Glasgow?

Jim Bon Jovi
05-26-2004, 03:44 AM
it's spelt losers and yes we have them in abundance.

well the story goes, we went prossie spotting a coupla years ago and ended up down a one way street int he west end. theres a bench at the very end and a woman sititng on it kinda wierd doing something so we have to go right up to her to turn round. as we get closer we realise shes sitting with her legs wide open, no knickers on and is playign with herself, just as we turn around a geeky looking guy pokes his head out from behind a bush, he;d been using her and hid when we came up the lane but she decided she would keep herself occupied in the meantime.

kinda disturbing really.

V shall we direct the conversation away from prostitutes?

spunkywho
05-26-2004, 03:47 AM
very disturbing indeed.

what do you want to talk about? I've got 14 minutes left then I'll head home.

What's on your agenda tonight?

Jim Bon Jovi
05-26-2004, 03:52 AM
bed. its nearly 2 inthe morning.

had a practice for the gig earlier, watched some TV, coupla documentaries just furthering my opinion that the middle east is never going to sort anything out until the full place is blown flat.

V what about you?

spunkywho
05-26-2004, 03:56 AM

V Alot of people think vinyls sound better than cd's because they're analogue and more organic but when you stick on a dvd and then a vhs, the difference with the dvd is very noticeable and in a good way. Why the fascination with shitty sounding old records?

spunkywho
05-26-2004, 04:07 AM
no idea - I definitely prefer CD's and DVD's

do you have any vinyl?

Jim Bon Jovi
05-26-2004, 04:12 AM

Do you think everything can be resolved with a fist fight?

Jim Bon Jovi
05-29-2004, 02:27 AM
no not at all but it can go a VERY long way. you don't even need to resort to violence to resolve some situations. i get by pretty well just creating an air of aggresion and giving off the impression that I'm a little crazy.

works wonders at my brothers gigs because he's far too peaceful for his own good when things take a turn for the worse.

Neurotica80
05-30-2004, 01:31 AM
Ermmm I thought I was but I realised this year, if I try hard enough I can give up anything, so I dont think I am.

What are you addicted to??

spunkywho
05-30-2004, 07:25 AM
I think I can say I am not addicted to anything right now - well except music I suppose - but then that is a pretty harmless addiction. Though, I just saw a program last night about how every addict that gets clean will find something else they get addicted to, but it isn't always an unhealthy form of addiction.

what gets you high?

allmike
05-30-2004, 11:44 AM

V why it is easy to put up weight then reduce it?

spunkywho
05-31-2004, 07:46 PM
because life is evil - and the pounds are out to get you

I agree with the addiction, though!

Do you like BBQ?

Keeper
05-31-2004, 08:32 PM

what was the worst date you ever had?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 08:04 PM
eh never had any particularly bad ones but i'd rather some 1st dates had been the last with regards to future outcomes of relationships.

not to worry.

V the weather in your bit is........?

spunkywho
06-02-2004, 08:06 PM
beautiful and sunny after a rainy 4 day weekend

V plans for this evening?

you?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 08:18 PM

V anythign exciting planned for the weekend?

spunkywho
06-02-2004, 08:24 PM
I'll go to NYC but am not looking forward to it - it'll be a family/business combo - I'd rather just go on business and not deal with family, but then I'd be the b1tch.

do you get along well with your family?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 08:28 PM
well the ones i see yeah.

Ive got family who literally live 5 minutes upt he road that i barely see or talk to cos they're just not likeable people. ill say hi if any of them come into work but thats abou tit.

then i have family over in belfast that iud ont see alot but get on great with and family down in london i never see on account of my uncle being divorced and dead.

thats my mums side.

my dads only got one brother and they live just down from Ash and i dont see them alot but we get on fine too. should really txt my cousin see if he wants to go out soon.

V what about you?

spunkywho
06-02-2004, 08:32 PM
no and I am contemplating breaking all contact with my parents and sisters.

I just don't want to bother anymore.

I'd like to get rid of all negativity in my life. :?

is it ok to take drugs every once in a while?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 08:35 PM
well it'd be pretty condascending of me to sit up on a moral high horse and say dont take drugs considering the amount i drink.

personally ive never done that much drugs because it doesnt seem to do much for me but if you want to take them and arent going to freak out or get behidn the wheel of a car or go and mug old ladies to get the money for them then why not?

V Jim Bon Jovi decided to get his act together with regards to not getting smashed beyong control: good plan?

spunkywho
06-02-2004, 08:43 PM
very good plan. very mature

So, if you drink alcohol/do drugs you cannot tell others not to drink/do drugs?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 08:45 PM
not that you can't BUT if like me you've ended up acting like a complete dick and doing stupid stuff on several occasions then you'd be a condascending prick to preach down to others about it.

V true?

spunkywho
06-02-2004, 08:46 PM
no - you might just know better than anyone else what not to do.

are prescription pills better than illegal drugs?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 08:49 PM
there both as bad as each other really but the thing is that its much easier to get hooked on legal pills without really noticing like havinga handful everyday without thinking anythign of it whereas when youre doing illegal shit you know the repurcussions that are likely.

if you were talking about for painkillers or people saying dope is for medicinal use: whisky and beer tends to numb pain but im not going to down a coupla halfs everyday for the rest of my life if ive got a gimpy leg so its a bit of a cop out really.

but whom i to judge?

i suppose your right about being able to point out what the **** not to do with regards to drink and drugs if youve been there and done it before.

whats better: flying or sailing?

spunkywho
06-02-2004, 08:52 PM
sailing

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 08:53 PM

how often do you work out?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 08:57 PM
ive not managed to get to the gym for a coupla weeks but usually i work out at least 3 or 4 times a week but theres a new gym opening a 15 minute walk away down the road on monday so ill be there pretty much every weekdat for a few hours and on the weekends when i can so ill be mega buff by time i go to lanzerote'

V ever been outside the US?

spunkywho
06-02-2004, 08:58 PM
ah, yeah. :?

you? (I mean UK)

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 09:00 PM
well ive been to everywhere in the UK. scotland wales, england and ulster) and outside our glorious little island ive been to mainland spain, norway, tenerife (which is a canary island a coupla hundred miles off the coast of Africa) and lanzerote' is another canary isle that ill be going to in august.

V where you been then?

spunkywho
06-02-2004, 09:07 PM
Germany, Austria, Italy, Yugoslavia (when it still was that), Amesterdam, Switzerland, Greece, Corsica, Australia, Canada - I think that is it.

If money wasn't a factor where would you go next?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 09:10 PM
New york.

money isn't so much a factor as other ties. ive got around 2 grand lyign int he bank thanks to mr student loan and if it wasnt for stuff keepign me here I would have jumped on a plane months ago and went travelling just for the hell of it.

V where do you want to go next?

spunkywho
06-02-2004, 09:14 PM
China but I dread the flight and lack of language skills. So, most likely, I'll go to Alaska on my next "big" trip.

Is it cool to visit different cultures?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 09:16 PM
eh well there isnt too much of a culture difference between the British isles but the spanish aren't exactly the friendliest folk ive ever came across and i didnt like them either but the norwegians were lovely and their culture was cool even if it was kinda the same as ours.

V whats their to do in alaska?

excuse the ignorance but i thought it was just ice and snow like antartica....?

spunkywho
06-02-2004, 09:29 PM
yes there is lots of ice in the sea, but not so much on land - particularly in the summer. It is just gorgous from a landscape perspective - huge mountains, lakes, meadows and not crowded at all. Most of the civilization is along the coast and kind of clustered, once you get out you are truly alone. Not many roads and just nature. I imagine it to be fantastic. No city-lights, just the stars. If you drive far enough to the north you can see the northern lights. And I so want to see the icebergs.

I do gravitate to the nature type vacation rather than poolside at the hotel in or close to a city.

do you like to hike?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 09:37 PM
Ive not done that much of it though I do want to climb Ben Nevis at some point. Im pretty sure there's one side of it you can pretty much walk up even though its the highest peak in the UK. i may very well be mistaken.

was going to do the west highland way over summer which is basically a big walkign trail fromt he north of glasgow to fort william. takes about a week to do but i dont really have time and my left leg goes a bit gimpy if i walk on it too much and gets sore if its cold at night so it would probably do my head in by the endof the week,

V ever bungee jumped or anything like that?

spunkywho
06-02-2004, 11:03 PM
no - I am afraid I'd faint.

you?

allmike
06-02-2004, 11:05 PM
I don't know i can do it ever.

V Do u think ur achiving everything u aim for?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 11:10 PM
musically. ive pretty much done everythign i wanted to do initially without getting carried away.

in life im happy with who i am.

other stuff is changing all the time so i dont really know where im goign but im sure ill know when i get there.

V you?

allmike
06-02-2004, 11:21 PM
no really. I had real tough time last 3-4 years. And what ever i aim for i never able to achive it. So not good over all, but on other part, i just started new life which started brightly. I'm just hoping it will carry on and go where ever i want to go.

V Whats ur ulitmate aim in ur life?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 11:25 PM
I don't particularly have an aim as such. as i said. everythign i realistically sat down and said i want to do this with my music, ive done. goign any further is pretty much out of my reach but we'll see what happens.

as for life in general i just want to have a fun time cos we're only here once so why bother wallowing around or whatnot? too many people focus on one thing way too much and dont realise all the other good things goign on round about them.

V agree?

spunkywho
06-02-2004, 11:25 PM
at the end of my life I want to be able to say I made a difference in at least one person's life and not getting sucked into the whole commercial captialistic money greedy machine out there.

you?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 11:26 PM
see my post before yours.

spunkywho
06-02-2004, 11:42 PM

Jim Bon Jovi
06-02-2004, 11:44 PM
agree?

allmike
06-03-2004, 12:06 AM
I wish i can agree with that. But not and i'm sure u going to realise sooner or later that life is not just having fun.

V Do u get depress a lot?

spunkywho

allmike
06-03-2004, 12:14 AM

V What u do when u get depress?

spunkywho
06-03-2004, 12:21 AM
ah, lately I am just trying to focus on something else and get myself really really busy with it - it isn't working well though. :?

ever had that feeling when you thought you'd burst out of your body and your blood is literally boiling? :?

Veloz
06-03-2004, 12:21 AM

u?

allmike
06-03-2004, 12:28 AM
I don't know how to deal with depression at a moment really. :?

ever had that feeling when you thought you'd burst out of your body and your blood is literally boiling?

You mean gett too angry?. I may showmore anger on internet then in real life. I usualy go slient. But yeah depression is just killing me inside.

V Do ever try to find a reason for getting deprssed?

spunkywho
06-03-2004, 12:33 AM
you mean trying to find out why I am depressed? Not really - I used to think about it a lot, but there is just nothing obvious really. I do remember trying to poison myself when I was about 5 years old - before I went to school and the only reason I could think of was that I didn't want to be where I was.

So, nowadays I don't think about the reason anymore.

What do you think you are depressed about?

allmike
06-03-2004, 12:42 AM
Probably being lonly for long time and also not being there where i wish i would at this stage. And there are lot of othere reasons too,.

V Ever u tried to kill ur self?

spunkywho
06-03-2004, 12:45 AM
yes

you? If not - ever fantasized about it?

allmike
06-03-2004, 12:48 AM

V What u make carry on?

spunkywho
06-03-2004, 12:51 AM

are you always depressed or do you go through cycles of being very happy and very sad?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-03-2004, 12:53 AM
im usually happy but sometimes i just get emotionally drained and feel almost empty soul-wise for days on end.

with regards to suicide, a while ago i was lying one night just thinking about stuf fin general. nothing depressing or anything but something clicked in my head and I thought it would be so easy just to end it and not have to worry about anything or try to be any or whatnot.

actually kinda freaked me out.

V with love will we survive? :P

spunkywho
06-03-2004, 12:58 AM
with love and gouranga :P

what makes you really really mad?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-03-2004, 01:23 AM
traffic cops

shit new bands thinking they're oasis or something because they're playing somewhere that isnt a garage. ive been there done that i'll knock you down a peg or two and then you better not act like a prat to me again.

People who dress to be individual. I saw 10,000 individual folk queuing outside dowload today all wearing the same black clothes and the same black mascara listening to the same bands....... its sad why bother doing it when youre not different to someone in a tracksuit?

thats off the top of my head. there are many more but that my friends is for another rant.

what makes you mad?

spunkywho
06-03-2004, 01:36 AM
hypocracy. That our VP rags on my boss for going to the bar instead of the game, even though the VP didn't show at either place.

Pushing kids too hard - academically or athletically. Makes me real mad.

People that think they are better because they have a well paying job and people that think they are better because they aren't yuppies.

Religious rightousness. Any rightousness for that matter.

How tall was your tallest date?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-03-2004, 02:00 AM

spunkywho
06-03-2004, 02:04 AM

I am having the same problems - do you think Kev is out to get us?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-03-2004, 02:08 AM
no he's out playing pool.

i was saying i dont know how there can be a wealth divide between the north and south of england because up his bit theyve got pubs you pay 15 quid and get your drink for the rest of the night and hes away to play pool all night for a tenner.

cant give your money away by the sound of it.

but he did delete my kitten from big brother thread which I'm not chuffed about. luckilyl goose reimbursed it or whatever it would be with slightly more acceptable word useage.

V is your computer breaking mine?

spunkywho
06-03-2004, 02:13 AM

spunkywho
06-03-2004, 02:32 AM

Jim Bon Jovi

spunkywho

that is what my boss said - arse - he is listening to carmen electra crap

are you still behind your desk?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-03-2004, 03:06 AM
im at my desk in my house. instead of sitting around wasting time on the internet I get to sit around sweating like a beast in a kitchen with an oven at work. which luckilly is only saturday and sunday mornings

spunkywho
06-03-2004, 05:10 PM
any particular reason why Jim stopped playing and not asking a question, but if I do the same he accuses me of all sorts of things? :?

Tashjbj
06-03-2004, 05:14 PM
Jim is part of the Militia and therefore he can do whatever he damn pleases.. we on the other hand cannot. In addition it must be said that sometimes after he has written his essay type answer he just forgets to ask a question!

Does this answer your question?

spunkywho
06-03-2004, 08:40 PM
might do

are you eagerly awaiting the weekend?

Tashjbj
06-04-2004, 12:06 PM

Any plans for the weekend?

allmike

Jim Bon Jovi
06-04-2004, 03:31 PM
not very fast. i dont do it enough to be really quick at it.

Ash is kinda pissed off cvos she went in a huff cos i was a bit tired and emotional when they came to pick me up last night and i didnt bother txting her back last night so now shes not replying to me.

V does anyoen actually like the smell of dope?

Tashjbj
06-04-2004, 03:36 PM
Yes I do. I can't smoke it anymore but I love the smell!!

Don't you?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-04-2004, 03:38 PM
Nah it reminds me of the incense that my sister burns and thats minging.

just kinda clogs your sinuses and makes your head go fuzzy.

V worst hangover youve ever had?

Neurotica80
06-04-2004, 03:40 PM

Bread or pasta, no atkens diet for me then!

Are you bossy???

Jim Bon Jovi
06-04-2004, 05:39 PM
I like to think of myself as a leader in that I'll usually be in charge or very vocal or whatnot but I'm not too bossy on account of being a lazy shit myself.

V are you a leader or follower?

Tashjbj
06-04-2004, 05:48 PM
Both. I won't always follower and sometimes I'm just too lazy to lead!

Do you rebel a lot?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-04-2004, 05:50 PM
nah I find it stupid. Actually going out of your way to do something to get a reaction is gay.

V do u?

Tashjbj
06-04-2004, 05:56 PM
I'm too old to rebel!!!

Do you go with the flow?

Veloz
06-04-2004, 06:11 PM

Jim Bon Jovi
06-04-2004, 07:17 PM

Neurotica80
06-08-2004, 06:01 PM
Last great album I bought was Maroon 5's new one.

Last crap CD you bought?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-08-2004, 06:04 PM
elbows alone in the back. bought it purely on hype and returned it purely on the basis that it was gash.

V best song lyrics ever?

Neurotica80
06-08-2004, 06:06 PM
So many to choose from....

BJ: Bed of Roses

Other: Driftwood by Travis, Bo Rhap, Champaigne supanova by Oasis

Do you keep birthday cards, or throw them away??

Jim Bon Jovi
06-08-2004, 06:10 PM
eh my mum probably keeps thems omewhere but i dont keep them.

V why would you keep them?

Neurotica80
06-08-2004, 06:11 PM
I hate throwing them away, not just cards anything really. Thats why my bedroom is so cluttered.

Are you sentimental??

Jim Bon Jovi
06-08-2004, 06:13 PM
depends on what. I keep bits and pieces of stuff Ashlea gives me like little presents and stuff but my brother used to go voerboard. he'd keep train tickets n stuff in a box from when he went down to his exes in England.

V long distance relationships? good idea

Neurotica80
06-08-2004, 06:18 PM
I wouldnt like it, im too possesive in a relationship, so id be wondering what they were up to when theyre not with me  Thats really bad isnt it??

Are you the jealous/possesive type??

Tashjbj
06-08-2004, 06:20 PM
No

Are you?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-08-2004, 06:23 PM
nah i worry more than anything if Ash is out herself with friends cos I know the amount of arseholes there is around.

V if someone cheated on you would you leave them?

Neurotica80
06-08-2004, 06:24 PM
Well id say yes, but who knows how youd feel or what the circumtances were.

Have you been cheated on??

Jim Bon Jovi
06-08-2004, 06:30 PM
yeah but my last 3 girlfriends were kinda taken from other dudes by me so I can't judge

V you ever "stole" anyone

Rosscoe
06-09-2004, 01:50 AM
Tried and failed.

You?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-09-2004, 03:12 AM
see above thread.

done it many times and never regretted it.

1 thing I will say that Javiers older woman post reminded me about. 1 girl I went out with was going out with a rugby player when we met and we instantly hit it off. I don't exactly run from trouble so the fact her boyfriend was about 6"2 didnt bother me but she was always goign on about how shit he treated her and how he hit her and stuff.

thing is every single person who knows the guy is like nah he wouldn't hurt a fly he's just a big soft geek of a dude. course im stupid and thiunk nah she wouldnt lie and i dont know for sure but ive since met the guy and as everyone has said, he's an absolute gentle giant, even bought me drinks knowing full well what i done so if he's not going to hit some cunt that stole his long term girlfriend, I doubt he's goign to hit a girl in the 1st place y know.

V ever cheated?

spunkywho
06-09-2004, 10:29 AM
depends on how you define cheating. I never had sex with someone else while I was still in a relationship.

is it ok to be with someone if you don't think it will last. Or, should you let them carry on with their life instead?

allmike
06-09-2004, 11:46 AM
Let them carry on, it is not worth keeping.

V Being in love and get hurtburn or not at all in love?

jess

allmike
06-09-2004, 02:53 PM
single in every possible way.

V Do u feel lonly?

jess
06-09-2004, 04:22 PM
no, not at all ! (not enough !)

are you scared of loneliness ?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-09-2004, 04:57 PM
I'm more scared of the fact that I think to myself too much when i'm alone and I think I would probably go a little crazy but the actual idea of being alone doesn't scare me yet.

V you?

spunkywho
06-09-2004, 05:23 PM
no, I like being alone and don't think I have enough "me" time.

how long could you be without a partner?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-09-2004, 05:25 PM
dunno the longest i've went without one in the past 4 years had been about 2 months on account of me being a manwhore.

could probably go a while but I'm pretty sure the lack of physical stuff would get to me long before the emotional stuff.

V you?

btw try and check out the killers. they're from vegas and I think you might dig their record. try and find a tune by the called mr brightside to see what you think.

Neurotica80
06-09-2004, 05:41 PM
Hmmmmm well I wouldnt put a time limit on it, iv found the more you look for love the longer it takes to come. The best things come out of the blue :)

Would you shave your chest???

Jim Bon Jovi
06-09-2004, 05:47 PM
as it stands, no but if i'm hoping to get it a bit more defined within the next month or 2 so ill see how it looks back then. Ive started getting alot of hair on my stomach and back in the recent past for some reason :?

V shave or wax certain places..... :D

Tashjbj
06-09-2004, 05:51 PM
Shave, I just don't have the guts for waxing!!!

Is neck hair sexy on a man??

Neurotica80
06-09-2004, 05:53 PM
Shaving cream ;) Yes im a wimp...

Girls: would you date a man who shaved his legs and chest??

Boys: would you date a girl who didnt shave her legs and other areas??

Jim Bon Jovi
06-09-2004, 05:55 PM
hairy legs are horrible and there's no real reason for someone not too. other places are personal preference so you can't really complain if they don't want to.

hairy legs: no i wouldnt

Hairy other places: no unless it was really disgusting

V guys@ clean shaven or a little stubble?

Veloz
06-09-2004, 06:14 PM
  this last questions r funny

i preffer guys shaven just cause my skin is sensitive and at times beard makes me all red..but a little stubble is cute and sexy in some guys ;)

would u be too scared to get waxed ?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-09-2004, 08:35 PM
I let Ashleas little sister wax my legs once to see what the **** you all feel the need to complain about and it was kinda irritating and itchy but no way painful and doesn't give you the right to make out as if it's a close second to child birth

V true?

spunkywho
06-09-2004, 11:32 PM
 of course it isn't second to child birth - you get painkillers when giving birth, but you don't for shaving your legs and other more sensitive areas - at least not legally :P

It really depends, I hate shaving just because it is inconvenient. Home waxing sucks - it never works as it is supposed to (maybe I am just a klotz) and I hate going anywhere where I need an appointment. So, for the time being I am stuck with shaving lol.

should women shave their 'beard' at some point when they grow one or should they leave their mustaches as god intended them to be?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-09-2004, 11:42 PM
don't most women bleach their facial hair so you can't see it? unless I've totally missed at what you;'re getting at....

V have I missed the general idea?

Veloz
06-09-2004, 11:45 PM
yes u have jim :P

do u think women talk too much in general?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-09-2004, 11:48 PM
You do everythign too much, shopping, talking, speaking on the phone, getting ready.... it's kinda like a disability. tragic really :P

V anythign men do too much of? Try and keep it clean

Veloz

Veloz
06-10-2004, 12:05 AM

Jim Bon Jovi
06-10-2004, 12:07 AM
yes but it's not what i want to hear :P

V what do you think of guys n bands?

Veloz
06-10-2004, 12:11 AM
u told me to keep it clean jim..blame urself :P

in general? hmm i´d say they´re artistic sensitive fellas who can be very sexy ;)

what do u think of women in bands? :P

Jim Bon Jovi
06-10-2004, 12:36 AM
bass players: hot

Guitarists or drummers: usually shite posers

Singers: usually shite too. ive come across 2 female singers in 5 years of gigging who were actually decent enough to perform in a band and 1 of them happens to be in my band.

keyboard players: geeky just like male keys players 8) dave bryan and elton john r pretty much the only 2 people I can think of that can pull of looking cool and rockign out on the keys.

V do the same list for guys in bands b instrument and your opinion.

spunkywho
06-10-2004, 12:42 AM
bass players: hot only if their name is Nikki Sixx

Guitarists or drummers: usually shite posers NO!!!! Guitarists usually have too much ego and come on way too strongly. Drummers :D well, you know  Drummers seem to really really work hard PLUS they have tools PLUS they are usually shy PLUS you feel the drums in your tummy - very sexy!!!!

Singers: usually shite too. ive come across 2 female singers in 5 years of gigging who were actually decent enough to perform in a band and 1 of them happens to be in my band. same answer as to guitarists. Too into themselves - usually. But good for the occasional fun thing.

keyboard players: geeky just like male keys players 8) dave bryan and elton john r pretty much the only 2 people I can think of that can pull of looking cool and rockign out on the keys. yes definitely!! Though both are still geeky.

Groupies ain't all they are cracked up to be?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-10-2004, 12:46 AM

spunkywho
06-10-2004, 12:54 AM
horrible thngs, I refuse to go near someone who likes me for the sole reason that Im in a band.

V agree?

Yes despicable!!!

Too many bands and their members are crap - true?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-10-2004, 01:09 AM
yeah out of 5 years of gigging and seeing tonnes of unsigned bands. you're lucky if there's been over 20 I've actually liked and thought they should be playign and less than a handful i would actually go and see again.

I don't have a problem telling people their band is shit when it is though.

V are me, my brother and my mate out of order not letting any bands have a guest list for this big festival we're running? (bearing in mind 40 bands wanting 2 people means 80x£6 we're losing out)

spunkywho
06-10-2004, 01:19 AM
yes - most likely the two people they invite wouldn't show otherwise. So, there is no guarantee that you would actually make any money otherwise. On the other hand, the two people that come because it is free might persuade a few more friends to tag along - friends that will pay for tickets. Plus, what is mouth proganda worth to you? Free passes will mean people will tell people about the festival. 2 free passes per band is quite too little isn't it? Who gets to choose whose friend will come? Bizarre.

Sometimes you have to give a little to get a little.

How long do the bands play? 40 bands is quite a lot - long day, huh?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-10-2004, 01:27 AM
bands get 25 minutes each. its running from 12 noon till midnight with 2 stages 20 on each.

thing that annoys me is that it's one of the top 3 venues in Glasgow that an unsigned band can play, it's only costing them 20 quid to play which they can recoup if they bring enough people whereas usually theyll have to recoup 100 quid, and we're still getting guys being cheap asses.

we need our driver and sound engineer in for free. We've paid for a sound engineer for the whole day and they're not going to let some monkey whop knows how to work a 4 track near a desk worth 20 grand anyways and if the guys driving you down from whatever ****ing cave you live in, isn't splitting 6 quid for his ticket between the band a small price to pay for it?

It's shit like that that put me off the business side of music as a career. too many fannies and I've got too little a temper.

V grrrrrrrrrr?

best way to loose weight?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-10-2004, 02:43 AM
exercise and eat properly. watch the calorie intake.

diets that make you lose the weight are very hard to keep the weight off since it really has to be a full lifestyle change.

V why do americans spell LOSE wrong? trousers can be loose, and you can lose a pair of trousers.

spunkywho
06-10-2004, 02:54 AM
it may not be Americans that spell it wrong, but people who are not English native speakers. Thanks for the lesson.

do you watch your carb intake?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-10-2004, 03:00 AM
I watch how many I burn off at the gym. I usually burn off over 500-1000 in a session so even if I have an average intake, Ill still be well under and should lose a little weight y know.

I try to avoid stuff with alot of sugar and drink diet drinks whenever I can.

Might start a food diary but Ive hardly been eating anything recently which is cool because it means I havent been eatign crap for the sake of it so I dont really need one.

V do you?

spunkywho
06-10-2004, 03:09 AM
I am now.

I never used to, but losing (sp?) weight isn't as easy as it used to be. Plus, I am a carbaholic - I could practically live off pizza and pasta. So, I've decided to only have carbs at dinner and try to keep the amount very low (which cramps my style in terms of beer). If I don't work out I gain weight immediately and it is pretty much impossible to lose any. So, I'll have to start 60 min cardio daily again if I want to see results anytime soon. I don't have a treadmill and me idiot didn't continue my gym membership (thought I'd run instead), so I have to use the stationary bike at home in the meantime. :?

Do you ever work out at home?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-10-2004, 03:11 AM
nah there's no room for even any free weights but I think I'm goign to start doing the ab exercises I posted over on NBJ as they're easy enough to do.

my mate just bought a cross trainer and it sits in his living room cos there's no space for it. just looks daft if you ask me

V is trying to pick someone up at the gym pathetic?

hey want me to add some weights?

spunkywho
06-10-2004, 03:22 AM
hey want me to add some weights? huh?

yes trying to pick somebody up at the gym is very very pathetic. That was my main reason I didn't go to the gym for the longest time. I hated it. Eventually, I went every morning (gotta love that college schedule) and I pretty much knew all the regulars, so they kind of kept an eye out for me. I also always were headphones and put on a really really pissed look if someone should approach me  - avoid eye contact at all times. Pathetic, huh? But at least it worked. At first I was so naive and talked to everyone who asked if I had a time (even thought there is a huge clock in every room).

So, there ya go - stay away from guys that try to pick up at the gym.

ever done yoga?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-10-2004, 03:30 AM
No I'm pretty backwards about all this new age stuff. I like my weights and my running etc... stuff that makes you sweat properly.

Saying that. My sis went on for months about how she wanted books and a yoga mat from santa so we all bought her various bits and pieces and nearly half a year later her and Ash are going to a yoga class at the new gym and it'll be the 1st time she's done it

Just a coincidence. the new gym doesn't have any clocks in it for some stupid reason. doesn't have drinking fountains either. add to the fact the machines don't sell water and the only diet stuff is diet coke then it's a bit of a pain inthe arse. still alot easier to get to than the old one though

V do I write to much in my replies? :?

spunkywho
06-10-2004, 03:33 AM
not as far as I am concerned. It is a lot more interesting than one word or phrase - it's the 'getting to know each other' thing. LOL.

do you talk more when you drink?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-10-2004, 03:36 AM
I talk alot in the 1st place. I notice that I've always got alot more to say than my mates. Which i suppose is a good thing.

Do I talk more when I'm drunk? nah probably about the same but it would appear less because it becomes less coherent and audible.

V what are you like when you're drunk?

spunkywho
06-10-2004, 03:47 AM
well, I try not to get too drunk anymore because I can because I hate myself when I am drunk.

Latest example: I went to my boss's birthday party last Friday and drank A LOT - I got chatting with my bosses ex wife's new boyfriend and lost count on my beers (he kept handing me new ones  ) and I didn't switch to light beer (which I usually do once I am at that happy place), so I got pretty shitfaced. At the end of the party I kept telling the exwife what a great party she had planned (it was a surprise party and what a surprise it was), yada yada yada. A bit earlier, my boss made a comment about the guys I like and that I'd never date a guy like him (which is true), but it made me feel soo bad that I went on and on about him being great and good looking and blah blah blah. I guess you can say I get too nice and friendly. I truly hate that about myself. :x Sappy me

worst thing about drunk girls?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-10-2004, 03:54 AM
That they're basically a stationary target for scum.

V going to do my abs workout?

spunkywho
06-10-2004, 03:56 AM
I haven't read it yet.

I do the Cindy Crawford tape  and she's got some serious abs workout, I have to admit.

Did you mean ALL drunk girls are stationary targets for scum???????

Jim Bon Jovi
06-10-2004, 04:01 AM
no but I've seen girls literally being carried along the road by guys. Boyfriend or some sleaze thats thought yas Ill have a bit of that? who knows know what I mean.

or girls sitting in the street crying cos theyve lost their mates and have no money to get hoem or whatever. guarantee some good samiritan (ALWAYS male) will come to the rescue. even some of my mates. K not yas I'm in here but I met one of my buds on the night bus home from the town once and this girl was unconscious in front of us. we've both had a bit of a drink but we're tryign to make sure she's ok so we're asking if she's alright and where she's supposed to get off and my mate was getting pretty touchy with her but I suppose he's always like that. I dunno man if I get myself drunk and fall asleep on a bus (which im ashamed to say I have done) at least I can look after myself for the most part whereas a lassie can't y know.

spunkywho
06-10-2004, 04:10 AM
I hear ya.

I like those ab workouts - I used to do all of those, but now my back won't let me - so I do the fag ones you listed on the top. :P

would you ever take advantage of a girl?

Jim Bon Jovi
06-10-2004, 04:15 AM
no. Condascending as it sounds, I don't feel the need to and even if I dont get any attention, I'm not going to force someone to pay me some.

plus B: I'd feel like an absolute shit of a human being for doing it.

In other cases as in having people work for me or in business etc... then yeah I would if it benefited me.

night

V question?

reincarnationofjonspants
06-10-2004, 07:18 AM
Tell me what you think about me
I buy my own diamonds and I buy my own rings
Only ring your cell-y when I'm feelin lonely
When it's all over please get up and leave
Question: Tell me how you feel about this
Try to control me boy you get dismissed
Pay my own fun, oh and I pay my own bills
Always 50/50 in relationships

Sorry you brought it on yourself.

V When you were a teenager (or if you are! a small child say roughly 9-12) did you ever expect to get to where you are now? Otherwords, were your goals the same as they are now?

Tashjbj
06-10-2004, 01:01 PM
No!!! I wanted to be a pilot and I'm in an office the whole day! Apparently I would get far though, according to some fortune teller so we'll have to wait and see!!

What are your ambitions?

allmike

To travel all around the world and meet all kind of people.

V Yours?

Tashjbj

To swim with dolphins
To learn Russian
To learn how to play poker
To visit America

Should ambitions be things that you can realise?

Neurotica80
06-10-2004, 02:33 PM
No i dont think so, goals are something you wish to achieve.

Are you over critical of yourself?

Tashjbj
06-10-2004, 02:34 PM
I don't think so. I expect a lot from myself, especially on work front, but I don't try and bring myself down. I think it is more important to like who I am and like my faults and try and work on them rather than moaning about them.

Are you a positive person?

Neurotica80
06-10-2004, 02:37 PM
I try to be, but no im cynical and usually think the worst. Im im really looking forward to something I always think something will go wrong.

Whats been the best day of the year so far?

Tashjbj
