Why not Sheryl Crow?
Because she annoys me, her songs annoy me and she isn't pretty or something.
What did you dream last night?
Thomas Anderson
03-19-2005, 10:38 PM
I can't often remember my dreams, last night being one of those nights. It's very rare that I remember them at all, and when I do they are more weird than anything I could think up when awake, so if I did remember any you wouldn't want to hear of them.

Depends on the crowd. If the people are very sucky and I have enough to do, I can keep my mouth shut for a very long time.
Do you talk to sucky people?
spunkywho
03-20-2005, 01:11 AM
try not to. But that doesn't leave a lot of people ;)
if your friend (best friend) lied to you while under the influence of a very assholish boyfriend - then she'll come back and needs you again - would you take her back or will the lies have destroyed everything?
try not to. But that doesn't leave a lot of people ;)
LOL! And kinda sad, since it's true.
if your friend (best friend) lied to you while under the influence of a very assholish boyfriend - then she'll come back and needs you again - would you take her back or will the lies have destroyed everything?

Well I probably have more friends online than anywhere else but I suppose I do have a fair few.
Do you find it easy to make friends, starting up conversations etc?
allmike
03-21-2005, 11:28 PM
On net yes but in real life its hard for me coz i'm not good with conversations at all..
V Why its hard to express urself when ur on face to face ?
Thomas Anderson
03-21-2005, 11:59 PM
When you are face to face with someone, as opposed to talking online, there is much more than what you say, but how you say it, your body language, so it's more difficult to concentrate, even if you aren't aware of what you're doing in terms of body language etc.
Online is much more anonymous, you don't have to look anyone in the eye, or even worry about what you say since it's a much less personal way of talking to someone.
I'm OK talking to people that I know, as I know I can be relaxed around them, but I'm often rather quiet around strangers.
Do you prefer talking to people in person or online?
allmike
03-22-2005, 12:53 AM

What speed does the Earth rotate at?
allmike
03-23-2005, 10:59 AM
Yeah , ive seen every episode
Does that make me a losser?
I seen MASH probbaly every episode for 3- 4 times ;) (its bad that they dont show it anymore :( )
And for neil answer:
That depends on where on Earth you are standing. At the poles, the Earth hardly spins at all, but as you travel towards the equator, the rotational speed picks up. This makes sense -- as the circumference of a circle increases, a single point along it has to travel faster to complete a revolution in the same amount of time.
The rotational speed of the Earth at the equator is about 1,038 miles per hour. The atmosphere at the equator is also slightly thicker due to rotation, and you weigh slightly less. At mid-latitudes, the speed of the Earth's rotation decreases to 700 to 900 miles per hour.
If the Earth were to stop spinning suddenly, the atmosphere would still be zipping along nicely at around 1,000 miles an hour. As a result, everything not attached to bedrock would pretty much be scoured clean.
V Do u fasinated by sky and star?

UKjovi
03-24-2005, 12:34 PM
Sometimes but it depends on the girls that you normaly take.
do you prefer female or male company?
Jim Bon Jovi
03-24-2005, 12:38 PM
at the mo male company because the only thing I like women for on a night out is obvious and I've either gone that road with everyone I know that i'd want to or I just can't be bothered c reating any un-needed drama. sometimes it's fun though 8)

I don't want to, but alas I am
Do you have something to believe in?
spunkywho
03-25-2005, 11:41 PM
ahhh that's a difficult question to answer. But I opt for no.
do you think everyone 'needs' something to believe in?
Thomas Anderson
03-25-2005, 11:42 PM
No, but obviously some people feel the need to otherwise they'd go crazy trying to answer all the questions of life, so instead they opt for some old religion that offers some answers that will satisfy them.
Is religion a good or bad thing?
spunkywho
03-25-2005, 11:45 PM
I've previously thought it did a lot of damage, but am now thinking it is probably a good thing. I do think that religion keeps a lot of people grounded - people that need that sort of higher power in their lives - otherwise they'd go insane. Just imagine - what would we do with all those psychos if they lost faith??? The pharma industry would be doing really really well, I suppose. :) :)
do you think it does more good or bad?
Thomas Anderson
03-25-2005, 11:48 PM
Well it is the major cause of wars and conflicts, has killed more people since it was created than it has helped, and is just an easy way out for people (forgive me for I have sinned, I killed someone....you are forgiven, the devil tempted you, it wasn't your fault) etc
What is your favourite food?
allmike
03-25-2005, 11:55 PM

V are u like to try all kind of food or more chosy about what u eat?
Thomas Anderson
03-26-2005, 12:00 AM
I don't try a lot of things, I am rather fussy about what I eat, but mostly what I eat is healthy, I don't like anything from McDonalds and such, so that can't be too bad.
Do you do much excercise?
allmike
03-26-2005, 12:03 AM
nothing at a moment but i need to join the gym again down the line...
V dont u get fustrated when are u doing same damn thing every day ?
Thomas Anderson
03-26-2005, 12:59 AM
I don't have a fixed daily schedule, when I'm at Uni I'm in at different times each day, and when I'm off I don't do much but sit here at my pc.
Do you have a set routine?
VanJovi
03-26-2005, 02:36 AM
Kind of...I work from 9 till whatever time during the week, go to the gym twice/three times a week, and so on.
If you could, would you change something in your life/lifestyle?
Thomas Anderson
03-26-2005, 02:40 AM
I'd like to get more excercise, but lack the motivation
Wouldn't it be funny if?
Becky
03-26-2005, 05:20 AM

How often do you watch television?
spunkywho
03-26-2005, 08:00 AM
I hardly ever watch TV.
How often do you think of switching jobs? (majors for those college folks)
A lot, lately. But it is very hard to find a decent part time job.
Would you want to work part time?
spunkywho
03-26-2005, 09:38 AM
I would love to work part-time but I could never afford to.
do you think money matters all that much? I mean we could always downsize and who really needs all that much stuff???
Money does matter. I had to downsize ever since my son was born, since I went from a full-time salary to a part-time one. It wasn't my choice to work part-time, especially since we just bought this apartment, so I really needed my full-time salary. Thank god I still had some savings, but I would love to have some extra money.
Does having more money make you more happy?
spunkywho
03-26-2005, 09:50 AM
no. Definitely NOT!!! Stuff is meaningless -- yes it is nice to 'just buy new shoes' but in the grand scheme of things it really means nothing. Happiness comes from within and has nothing to do with where you live or what your income is.
do you agree?
Not really. I'm pretty sure I'm more happy than a mum who has to live from welfare in order to feed her kids. On the other hand, I wouldn't be more happy if I'm having more money than I currently have.
Do you know how it's like to be poor?
allmike
03-26-2005, 10:55 AM
No alex money never bring happiness, i been really had touch time with money when i was in india for long time and even end up having big debts when i left my business but all those time i had peace with myslef. but after i move to kuwait things has changed, i have no more problems with money but i lost of my peace in myself. We all think money can give us or take that trouble away but at the end it really doesnt really a case...
V Did u get what i mean?

Yes i do Allwyn but money can make things easier and if you dont have to worry about money then at least thats one thing off your mind ,where as if you've got money problems it stays on your mind for most of the day and night .
true?
Exactly. I'm not saying that money brings happiness, because happiness itself comes from the inside. However, I'm sure I'm happiER when I have enough money than when I'm poor and when I can barely feed my son.
Do you go out a lot?
allmike
03-26-2005, 11:49 AM
If u going to office is out then yes LOL. No i only get one day weekend and i usualy come home at 9.30, so its not possible for me and also there is no place to go much here.

Rakel
03-27-2005, 05:27 AM
i can't eat chocolates so i take it as an excuse for hollidays lol
Can you drive?
Thomas Anderson
03-27-2005, 05:28 AM
No, I don't think I'll be able to, not something I can see myself being any good at. I'd prefer a motorcycle anyway.
Why can't you have chocolate, are you allergic?
Becky
03-27-2005, 05:29 AM
Yes (for almost 15 years now, half my life. I'm getting old. )
How old do you have to be to drive where you live?
Thomas Anderson
03-27-2005, 05:31 AM
17 I think.
Weird how I aimed that question at Rakel and it fit for you too.
Should alcohol be classified as a drug, and perhaps made illegal? (since it's as bad and probably causes more death than drugs)
Becky
03-27-2005, 06:32 AM
Actually, I was talking about driving. Your question didn't show up when I hit reply.
It wouldn't bother me if alcohol was illegal. I rarely drink so I wouldn't miss it. Come to think of it, I'd feel safer when I was leaving concerts since I see so many people getting wasted at shows.
V How would it personally affect you if alcohol was illegal?
Thomas Anderson
03-27-2005, 06:39 AM
Not at all since I haven't ever drunk any of it
V Do you have any bad habits?

I like all sorts of coffee. As long as there's milk in it.
What's your favourite Starbucks coffee?
spunkywho
03-28-2005, 01:27 PM
grande, triple shot, nonfat, sugar free, vanilla latte -- it's my morning thing. Sometimes it is plain nonfat cappuccino - on the dry side.

Do you like siwmming?
spunkywho
03-29-2005, 01:26 AM
yes but I am very weird when it comes to public pools - don't like them and avoid them like heck. Don't do oceans either or small lakes. I used to live in a house with a pool - that was perfect, now I only have a jaccuzzi and there isn't much swimming involved lol.

Are you a good swimmer?
Neurotica80
03-29-2005, 01:52 AM
No im crap, I even get overtaken in the slow lane at my local baths
Can you dive??
spunkywho
03-29-2005, 02:08 AM
it's been a long long time that I did attempt some diving -- I am afraid of hights, so, ahem, I am no good at it ;)
I don't like public pools because literally everybody is taking a bath in it :) it grouses me out lol. I am also having issues sharing bathrooms with people - like a the healthclub - the showers - I've develped a skill of where I can take a shower and not touch a thing except the soles of my feet will have to touch the floor (same for public restrooms - won't touch a thing) :)
is that neurotic?
Thomas Anderson
03-29-2005, 02:09 AM
I can't dive, although I've never really tried. I'll be going on Thursday so I might try, although I'd probably just end up causing a tidal wave in the pool, getting a huge bruise on my stomach and get kicked out
V Do you enjoy swimming?
Aidan
03-29-2005, 02:25 AM
Not that I could swim very well, but I like it :)
Isn't swimming pool better than beach?
Thomas Anderson
03-29-2005, 04:06 AM
Well it is certainly cleaner, less turbulent and such, but in the sea even if there are lots of people around you have as much space as you want, and you can lie on the sand too.
Would you try a nude beach?
spunkywho
03-29-2005, 04:09 AM
no - I think most people are not of a physical condition that I'd enjoy seeing them nude :)
am I a snob?
Thomas Anderson
03-29-2005, 04:19 AM
I don't know, are you? lol
It's not about staring at everyone, no more than on a normal beach, just about swimming without restrictions and going home with no tanlines, lol
Are you evil? lol
spunkywho
03-29-2005, 04:22 AM
I hope not.
still no. I don't like seaweed rubbing up against my private parts. Topless on the other hand, yes, that is nice.

I don't remeber.
What's yours?
Thomas Anderson
03-29-2005, 04:40 AM
I had one t'other day that I went to the baths with my dad, who can't swim, got in and the pool was only 1m deep, he got in clothed, and I went looking for another pool, found a diving pool by following a long spiralling ramp, lol. I then ran the couple of miles home naked
I rarely remember my dreams, but I remembered that one and the night befores too (which I've now forgotten) lol
What is the weirdest dream you can ever remember having?
spunkywho
03-29-2005, 04:40 AM

OK then if not your weirdest dream, which you won't tell, any weird dream you remember.
spunkywho
03-29-2005, 04:49 AM
I had a dream in which I was fighting with some demons --- a female one and a male one --- it was quite intense --- ended up killing the female one - not sure if the stabbing or strangeling did it, but I think I killed her -- or at least I woke up at that point.
your weirdedst dream (and why aren't you in bed yet)?
Aidan
03-29-2005, 05:03 AM
The one I can remember right now, is one in which I was fighting with someone on a roof of a San Francisco skyscraper and then both of us fell down. I don't know what was the end, cause I woke up. Stupid, isn't it :?
(I'm still not in bed cause I woke up at 2 pm today :P )

Why not?
Yes. I have 7 cats and 9 dogs.
V Am I a magnet for stray animals?
Thomas Anderson
03-29-2005, 05:40 AM
It seems so, but that's a very kind thing to do, and if you can manage it and you love animals then why not.
I just thought 6:04 was random, not 6:00 or 6:05, lol
Are you random?
allmike
03-29-2005, 10:17 AM
