would you rather be trailor trash or very posh in a high sociaty group?
Thomas Anderson
06-02-2005, 12:11 AM
I don't think so, not everyone will have to and forcing students to do it could make them hate it, they might feel more nervous each time, not grow accostomed to it. I know I never like doing it.

You don't need to be able to sing in order to be a fantastic front man. Anthony Kiedis can't sing to save his life, yet he is absolutely fantastic :)

V which country fasinate u most?
Becky
06-05-2005, 03:04 AM
I've always been very interested in Greece, Italy, Japan, and Australia. The more I learn about the USA, the more I realize there are a ton of places I want to see here too. I'll never get in all the traveling I want to do in my life. I've always wanted to go to Australia most, but I watch too many nature shows about their killer suburban spiders and am not sure it's all that safe. I'd probably get stung by some mutant bee or something and they'd send me home in a pine box.

Thomas Anderson
06-05-2005, 06:30 AM
I don't think so, I'm not fond of journeys and a cruise is really one big journey. I'd rather get on a plane to go somewhere and then spend time there, I don't think I'd like just being able to spend a day or two in specific places, I'd want to explore them more.

Thomas Anderson
06-05-2005, 06:32 PM

Alaska
If you're single, what setting would you most like for a wedding?
Thomas Anderson
06-11-2005, 04:40 AM
I'm not really into the whole wedding thing, to me the love between two people is enough without requiring a lavish party to validate it. Really I think it is quite an exhibisionist idea because it does have the aspect of "look at us" to it, when to me it should just be between the two people about how much they love each other, regardless of what others think of it
Do you believe in weddings as a form of commitment?
Thomas Anderson

Do you believe in weddings as a form of commitment?
Becky
06-11-2005, 05:35 AM
I believe marriage is the committment. The wedding is a celebration of the committment.
V How many weddings have you attended?
Thomas Anderson
06-11-2005, 05:40 AM
Two, one being my aunties wedding when I was about 10 (and I had a really silly outfit) and then my uncles in Cyprus in 2000, which was cool as he and I went on a jet ski a few hours before lol
I'm not saying that I don't think people who get married love each other more or less than those who don't marry, it's just that to me it's only a piece of paper and a ring on your hand, it shouldn't make you feel any different about that person. If you feel you need it to tell that person you love them then do it, but for me I think it would be something I'd feel with that person and not something I'd need to shout out to the world
How long was your longest relationship?
UKjovi
06-11-2005, 11:12 AM

If you could would you have a relationship with a celeb? i mean just think that you will be photograghed and everything wil be written about you . i dont think i could
Thomas Anderson
06-11-2005, 03:18 PM
I wouldn't do it for the sake of being famous, which I wouldn't want, but if I met someone who was famous and started to really like them then yes I would want to spend time with them, even if it meant the paparazzi idiots followed us everywhere

I always prefer to have coffee in the mornings, I need something strong to wake me up and perhaps I have another one around mid-morning or after lunch depending how much I need it. I am trying to avoid drinking too much coffee though as I'd like to do a detox diet one of these weeks.

would you want to go back?
VanJovi
06-13-2005, 04:35 PM
It will sound sad but I don't want to go back, at least for another 10 years at least. Things haven't been ok over there (particularly in terms of economy and security) and I sometimes feel very ashamed of being Argentinian. It is a beautiful country, don't get me wrong, and there are days I miss my parents and friends very much, but if the government knew what they are doing and took care of their citizens, then it'd be a complete different situation. Sorry I got carried away...I may be moving to another country in a few years.

what do you think of the governments idea about road charging?
Thomas Anderson
06-16-2005, 06:28 PM

What do you think of it?
allmike
06-16-2005, 07:17 PM
Just another way to rip off
V Do u wast too much money on unwanted things?
Thomas Anderson
06-16-2005, 07:20 PM
Well I wouldn't say unwanted things, I usually only buy things I need but sometimes I do buy things that are rather pointless (like I have a small office toy, a magnetic floating globe, doesn't do anything but look good lol) and I want a plasma ball
I did buy a 9" fan today though and am using it even right now as it's turning out to be a warm summer here

do you love the smell of wet dog?
Thomas Anderson
06-16-2005, 08:34 PM

Thomas Anderson
06-17-2005, 07:27 PM

Thomas Anderson
06-18-2005, 12:30 AM

If you won 1 billion how would you spend it?

Thomas Anderson
06-18-2005, 02:44 PM
I guess so, I don't really care too much for politics so I don't know what it's all about really. A bunch of over-paid snobs in suits endlessley debating and never acting on the problems of a country doesn't work.
Do you hate politics?
Becky
06-18-2005, 06:13 PM
Yeah, pretty much. I hate the ignorance surrounding it. I hate the way the USA is pretty much a two-party system and that people are ignorant enough to vote along party lines without considering both candidates. I hate when celebrities get involved in politics and that Joe Q. Public is sometimes dumb enough to vote based on celebrity endorsements or who Letterman tears down least in his nightly monologue. So, yeah, the more I think about it, the more I hate it.
V Do you vote?
Thomas Anderson
06-18-2005, 06:33 PM
Well the last election here was the first time I legally could but I didn't bother. No matter who wins nothing really changes so voting is pointless.
Do you vote?
allmike
06-18-2005, 08:00 PM
I think everyone should vote, every vote count... Well i always voted when i was in india...
V Are u intrested much in politics?
Thomas Anderson
06-18-2005, 09:01 PM
Like I said not at all. I don't think it matters if anyone votes because, as I said, it makes no difference really
What is one big thing you want to do before you die?
Becky
06-18-2005, 10:59 PM
Get married (I know some people don't think of it as that big of a thing, but I think it's pretty HUGE to find someone you're willing to commit to for the rest of your life).
Do you think people view marriage too lightly? You know, if it doesn't work, we'll just get divorced.
Thomas Anderson
06-18-2005, 11:45 PM
Well I don't think it is a big deal, it's a ring on your finger and a piece of paper. If I was truly in love with someone I wouldn't need that validation because just being together and knowing we loved each other would be enough.
The problem is that people get married too soon without getting to be friends first, which is the foundation of any good relationship, so when their romance falters they have no friendship to fall back on, but if you have a good friendship you can rebuild a romantic relationship if you respect each other and get along.
Why do you feel that a ring on your finger and a piece of paper would somehow make you love someone more?
Becky
06-18-2005, 11:54 PM
I didn't say it would. I didn't say anything that even implied that.
Are you not willing to make a public formal committment or do you simply think it's not necessary?

Thomas Anderson
06-20-2005, 03:25 PM
I don't like it to be so hot, especially not at night because I can't sleep well, but I suppose I'd prefer it than being freezing cold lol
Where is the hottest place you've ever been to?
VanJovi
06-20-2005, 03:45 PM
