03-02-2006, 07:19 PM
I couldn't get that link to loads, but presuming it to be the one with the quintuplets (sp?) I saw it t'other day, and yes I thought it was funny

Innocence i suppose .... :)
What's your favourite names for a girl and for a boy ?
tweety_b
03-02-2006, 07:55 PM
I'd like to name my daughter Faith. But then maybe I'll choose an Italian name... for a boy I love Riccardo :)
Do you like weird names or you think it's just a "torture" for the poor boy/girl?
Thomas Anderson
03-02-2006, 08:01 PM
It depends how you classify weird, but generally I think it could cause problems, though you could raise them not to be easily baited by bullies and such, thus over-coming any problems like that

Do you think that renting movies at Blockbuster is getting too expansive??
Thomas Anderson
03-04-2006, 07:42 PM
I never rent films. If I want to see something I see it at the cinema and, if I liked it enough, buy it on DVD. As such I have no idea how much it costs to rent a film.
Do you have a lot of DVD's?
UKjovi
03-05-2006, 01:56 PM
about 30-40? ish
and yes tweety films are getting expencive to rent. Infact Neil has the better idea as its not much more to buy than it is to rent plus then you can watch that film when ever you like .

What's the best thing in you life at the moment?
Maybe a person i met again recently after 5 years without seeing this person, can bring some good things in the future.
Would you like to know what will happen in your life ?
Thomas Anderson
03-06-2006, 04:29 PM
No, because if you knew what was going to happen you would do things differently to purposely get there, or to avoid it, either way you'd be concious of it and not able to get there exactly. Think of being told in advance that you have a suprise party, you get there but aren't suprised.
Regardless of that, it wouldn't be interesting...unless of course you find out you will develop a disease, or get hit by a car or something like that, something you could just prevent at the time.
Would you like a time machine?

what do you think to the oscars?
Thomas Anderson
03-06-2006, 06:13 PM
I only watched it a couple of times, mostly to see the silly videos that Bill Crystal did and such. To me it doesn't matter if something wins an award, seeing a film advertised "Winner of 5 Academy Awards" etc, isn't going to make me go see it. It is annoying when they write that on DVD cases too, my Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King 2-disc set has a banner at the top on the front of the case announcing how many awards it won, and that annoys me.
(Though in reference to DVD cases, anything except the poster and title on the front cover annoys me, and the horrid barcodes and magazine/newspaper quotes and the big yellow "This is not a rental copy" on the back, oh, and the annoying BBFC rating. If I had the time and could be arsed I'd scan, edit and re-print covers for all of my DVD's - though I have so many it would be a somewhat daunting task. Sorry, rant over lol)
Does anything annoy you like that?
Irishshin
03-08-2006, 02:02 AM
That kinda thing does annoy me too, on CDs as well when it tells you it includes the hit single blah blah blah.

Thomas Anderson
03-24-2006, 01:38 AM
Nope, they are much easier to hack into and by a wider range of people than a regular one, you shouldn't let a bad experience dissuade you from regular diaries
Are you good at making up silly words? :p
Irishshin
03-24-2006, 01:53 AM

Do you beleive all those creams help prevent wrinkles and do all the things they say they will do?
Thomas Anderson
03-24-2006, 02:03 AM
It's all bollocks lol I don't understand the thinking behind why people would want to look younger anyway, when I get older I'd be happy enough to get wrinkles and whatever, to show that I am older and wiser. It's just another step towards everyone being the same, plastic barbie dolls.

Amazon, because I've bought once and been screwed once off ebay.
Do you think ebay is unreliable?
UKjovi
03-28-2006, 04:01 PM
Ive bought from there a few times but once i didnt receive the item. i contacted Ebay but heard nothing . that was a few years ago . Now though i fancy getting a halloween DVD its from asia too so i'm in two minds as wether to bid or not.
Would you bid?
Thomas Anderson
03-28-2006, 04:09 PM
Personally I don't tend to buy films and such like that on eBay, I get all mine new, I only use eBay for rare cd singles and computer stuff (which I get through shop sellers, not 2nd hand). If you like the films, and they aren't available anywhere else, and you want them, then it is up to you to bid.
As for being done on there, you can't let one bad experience stop you. Do you know what the Buddy list does? (besides put a + after your Buddies names)
Irishshin
03-29-2006, 12:27 AM
Nope,

You?
Thomas Anderson
04-18-2006, 02:23 AM
Well for a start you aren't being realistic if you think you command such a strong emotion as hatred from people. The only thing I noticed is that you posted some random thing about how everyone should be proud of you for getting a DVD, then using terrible spelling and grammar to 'defend' yourself and tell us it was sarcastic (despite not being obvious nor funny). You didn't actually get any nasty replies anyway.
Why do people care so much about the opinions of people they never met?
