06-14-2006, 09:03 PM
None, though I am after one now, I have to do 1 year of work as part of my degree so am currently looking, applied for one this week and should have a decent shot at that one. That one is data analysis related so not my dream job, but better than some of the crap ones I've seen, and the money is good.

Stut

Do you exercise much?

UKjovi
06-15-2006, 02:53 PM

Thomas Anderson

06-15-2006, 03:42 PM
No, screaming is fun :D

Ever got hooked on a band so much that you couldn't stop listening to their music?

Thomas Anderson
06-15-2006, 03:44 PM
Well I listen to Bon Jovi a lot, moreso than I listen to other bands, but I wouldn't say that I "couldn't stop" listening. I sometimes go through stages of listening to a specific band/artist more than another, but can happily and easily stop and listen to another

As for the screaming girls I mean the ones who scream at such a high pitch that dogs within a mile of the concert start barking lol

SamboraQueen21
06-15-2006, 10:56 PM

Thomas Anderson
06-16-2006, 01:37 AM
It would have to be Bon Jovi in Manchester on the 4th, simply because it was excellent, and due to the fact that it is the only concert I have attended makes it difficult to choose otherwise really.

Thomas Anderson
06-16-2006, 02:50 AM
The irony of me answering this :p and to go along with that that my answer is no, because I don't like the idea that I'm not in control of my life. Plus fate/destiny suggests some higher power, something which I don't believe in.

If you do believe in such things doesn't it piss you off that everything you do is planned? Meaning that everything you do is already set and thus you have no choice in what you do?

Becky
06-16-2006, 03:08 AM
No because I believe that predeterminism and free will can be reconciled.

The second Cube film is shit as well. (The first wasn't that good anyway...)

Which super hero that has yet to be adapted as a movie would you like to see?

Ponrauil

I'm not really familiar with any outside of the film world since I don't really read any comics/graphic novels

Who are some of your favourite directors?

Do you enjoy seeing theatre plays?

Ponrauil

Thomas Anderson
06-21-2006, 09:35 PM
I've never been to see a play, I'd like to, but a proper play and not a crappy musical or anything like that

Do you like musicals?

ponrauil
06-21-2006, 10:03 PM
No, I've yet to see one but they all look and sound so cheesy...

I like some as movies, like Grease, West Side Story or Singing in the rain. There's something eternal in these.

What's the film you hated but everyone else loved?

Ponrauil

Thomas Anderson
06-21-2006, 10:17 PM
Well I don't know how well liked it was generally but I didn't like Spielberg's War Of The Worlds last year, one of the few films I haven't liked in the past couple of years. I can usually judge if I'll like one, if not I don't waste my time, hence I rarely see any new ones that I don't like.

What is one you love that everyone else hates?

ponrauil
06-21-2006, 10:37 PM
I found The Last Samurai to be pretty good when all my friends either left the cinema or fell asleep.

Brokeback Mountain I found crap when everyone clapped and gave it oscars.

What are the latest good films from the UK?

Ponrauil

Alex
06-22-2006, 12:27 AM
No idea. Just saw V for Vendetta, which uses the UK as location. Does that count as well? Good movie.

Brokeback Mountain *was* a bore, btw. On a similar note, A History of Violence sucked ass as well.

Jim Bon Jovi

Who are the 5 musicians that would be part of your dream team band?

Ponrauil

Jim Bon Jovi
06-22-2006, 06:54 PM
singing: brandon lee from flickerstick
lead guitar / backing vox: richie
rythmn guitar backign vox: me (i'm not missin gout on this gig)
drums: kenny arnoff (got to have kenny in a session band)
bass: sting solely on account of his impeccible rythmns and timing but there's plenty of guys who could do it, he just writes good lines)

to be honest i'd love a amssive dream band with 3 or 4 guitars, 2 keys, percussion etc...

do you like watching session bands backing a singer or artist or would you prefer it to be an "actual" band?

ponrauil
06-22-2006, 07:02 PM
Depends on how the musicians get to shine.
Sting for example is extremely well surounded and I enjoy his shows more than a lot of actual bands.

Ponrauil

Jim Bon Jovi
07-04-2006, 08:22 PM
oooh an edumacted man i see.

to be totally honest i've not been following who he's bringing in, i rarely keep track of whats going on with transfers over the summer but apparently he's made some pretty decent signings for the money.

can't be much worse than half the numpties we've got just now.

next season should be alot closer and i hope hearts are still on the ball to make it really interesting situation.

what glasgwegian team would you support? :-)

ponrauil
07-04-2006, 08:32 PM
I usually favored Celtic but Paul Le Guen taking over Rangers will probably change my mind this season.

But as I lived in Aberdeen for 6 years I'm with the Dons.

Do you think Rangers and Celtic should play in the English Premiership?

Ponrauil

Jim Bon Jovi
07-04-2006, 08:41 PM
no. it would be detrimental to both of them and im not even sure they could become viable contenders given time either.

better being the top 2 in scotland all the time than a mid table effort down south.

plus the strugglers and teams who are always in relegation battles would veto it at a vote cause it would mean more chance of them going down.

did you ever come to glasgow when u lived in aberdeen?

ponrauil
07-04-2006, 08:52 PM
Yes, for a visit of the Museum of Transport with my school among others...
When I was up there (in Scotland) I was to young to travel on my own or go to Glasgow to party with friends... which I regret and hope to correct in the future :)

5 things you'd recommend me to see/do in Glasgow?

Ponrauil

Jim Bon Jovi
07-04-2006, 09:07 PM
5 things to see or doooooooooooo

hmmmmm

the peoples palace

firewater on suchiehall street for good drink and great music

king tuts for the same reason and because of the oasis thing. every guy who comes to glasgow should pee on the wonderwall just to say theyve done it.

ashton lane if it's summer and sunny so you can sit in their beer gardens and take in the west end's atmosphere

catching a show at the kings, citizens, theatre royal or royal concert hall would be cool too.

we used to get took to the transport museum in primary school too :-)

sound good?
