i'm actually really good at talking in front of groups.
just about every class presentation ive done in uni ive had the tutors congratulate me on being so relaxed and in control whilst doing it and when i do group presentations i usually get told i was the best asset to the group.
i don't know why but i just have no qaulms about talking in public, doing karaoke, doing solo acoustic gigs or whatever. i don't see the point of letting it bother you. the people who freak out at uni doing talks basically mess up because they're so freaked out, not because there's anything inherently problematic about speaking in public. it's kind of a circular problem.
i was on a date last night and the girl said: you find it really easy to talk, usually my 1st dates consist of akward silences only being broken by one of us saying do you want another drink?
when i was in europe too i basically had to be outgoing and talk to people or i'd have spent alot of time sitting in pubs drinking alone....
lol there must be some kind of irony behind me writing a mini essay on a question about how easy i find talking....

Hmm well I don't smoke, and never have, and I suppose I am anti-smoking in the sense of I think it should be banned, but if people want to do it in private or sanctioned areas then its alright, as long as it isn't affecting other people. I'm not sure I could be with someone who smoked because of the smell and I'd probably only get them to quit anyway if I did. Not something I've faced to know for sure how I'd handle it really.

I don't mind any of it, except the cramped space. There is more legroom on a bus than most planes I've been on, next time I fly I'd pay more to get extra legroom. Last time I flew it was night and we were on the way home and I'd been sat there fine for a couple of hours, but for some reason at one point I started, for the first time in my life, to feel very claustrophobic. Fortunately I can control myself and didn't end up panicking and disrupting the flight and getting arrested or anything, but it wasn't nice.

The Office. I like Ricky Gervais as a stand-up, but I just don't find that show funny. Only if I'd been severely dis-figured. I hate these shows 'Extreme Makeover' where they give people extensive surgery instead of what they actually need; therapy. If someone in my family did that I wouldn't be waiting at the end applauding them because I wouldn't bee seeing them anymore, I'd be seeing a plastic doll. It's the whole stupid society that places so much emphasis on looking a certain way, and some of the people who don't can't seem to get over the fact that they don't 'need' to look a certain way, and as such, like I said, they need therapy, not surgery.
Anyway, rant over.
What would you do if I sang out of tune? Would you stand up and walk out on me? :p hehe

It was good, now when I keep a ball high for a few minutes or take a sprint I know I will not be able to walk normal for a few hours afterwards, cause first pain then it will feel kinda frozen for a while...
