01-26-2008, 03:09 AM
Hell no, I mountain bike, then do weights, without having to be in the presence of other smelly people, and without having to pay for a membership.
Do you know your exact weight? (n.b - I'm not asking what it is ;))
Peterson
01-26-2008, 12:56 PM
I know what it is roughly, couldn't say exactly though.

(Don't)Lie_to_me

Do you have nightmares often?
Becky
01-27-2008, 01:40 AM
No. I have some weird dreams, but have had very few nightmares and most of them were medication induced!

Peterson
01-27-2008, 01:44 AM

Would you like to see Nickleback support Bon Jovi again this year ?
Becky
01-27-2008, 06:33 PM
Nickelback is one of my favorite bands, but I'd rather see Daughtry this year. I'm disappointed that none of the Southern dates (within driving distance) are on Saturdays, or even Fridays. :(
If you could put 4 acts on a stadium bill with Bon Jovi, who would you put?
zero_zero_UFO
01-27-2008, 10:57 PM
Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, Rolling stones.

when you like a song, what do you like most? (lyrics, sound...)
(Don't)Lie_to_me
01-27-2008, 11:58 PM
The melody - the rythm structure that you have to concentrate on to really hear. That's why I hate a lot of Pop as it's all so basic - and the reason I love LH and the extra instruments - lots of layers.
Do you ever just sit and listen to music, doing nothing else?
Yvonne
01-28-2008, 12:14 AM
yeah, i get that urge at times
whats your fave genre of music?
Becky
01-28-2008, 03:30 AM

Do you like where you live?
(Don't)Lie_to_me
02-02-2008, 12:40 AM
Yeah, it's pretty nice, although Leeds needs the 70-mid 90s relic buildings knocking down. There's a lot of classic architecture, interesting lighting and modern buildings around. Although city centre rent is astronomical for the North.
Would you emmigrate?
milomom
02-02-2008, 12:58 AM
Nope. "My people" already did! (From Germany and England 3+ generations ago.)
Do you live close to family or did you move far, far away?
(Don't)Lie_to_me
02-02-2008, 01:07 AM
Moved 20 miles away (Leeds, family in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England), then hundreds of miles when I went to work in London for a period, before coming back to Leeds.
Do you like your family?
milomom
02-02-2008, 01:11 AM
Yes . . . but it didn't stop me from moving 500 miles away!
How many siblings do you have?
Becky
02-02-2008, 06:45 PM
One brother.
How many kids do you have (or want to have)?
(Don't)Lie_to_me
02-02-2008, 08:33 PM
I don't have any yet. I've always thought I wouldn't want kids, for numerous reasons, but now I'm engaged, and I know Carmela would love a kid - I can't wait to have one

Are you, or do you believe yourself to be, a funny person?
Peterson
02-11-2008, 09:48 PM
Depends on your sense of humour. I can be really childish lol.
How much time do you spend online each day?
(Don't)Lie_to_me
02-11-2008, 10:21 PM
Depends. At work I'm normally on a stand alone, isolated machine, since I can't risk evidence being compromised, but the PC and Mac in my office are connected, and I'm posting here sometimes, along with checking e-mail, blogs etc.
At home I have ipTV, so that's online, but actually browsing - not much.
Would you want one of those e-homes that order the milk, and make coffee in the mornings and what not?
Peterson
02-11-2008, 11:16 PM
nah, prefer to get it myself
Do you do your food shopping online?
(Don't)Lie_to_me
02-11-2008, 11:33 PM

You?
(Don't)Lie_to_me
02-17-2008, 01:28 AM
Yeah, Fifteen (Jamie Oliver) and Gordon Ramsay at Claridges. Paid over £900 to use the 'Chef's Table' (me and bosses in London) where the head chef makes a menu up especially for you after you chat with him, and the sommilier (god knows if that's the right spedlling, wine waiter anyway ;)) will recommend wines for every course. It was bloody fantastic frankly.
Do you tip or pay a service charge?
Becky
02-17-2008, 03:03 AM
I tip.

Do you watch American Idol?
(Don't)Lie_to_me
02-17-2008, 02:03 PM
I catch it on ITV2 over here when I can - they're generally more talanted than the dirge we get :)
Do you wish reality TV would go away or not?
Peterson
02-19-2008, 11:37 PM
Some of it, there seems to be too much. Could handle a little bit though!
Would you ever go on Big Brother?
Irishshin
02-20-2008, 12:26 AM
No never, a lot of crap would get out in the tabloids :P
You know creme egg easter eggs....would you like a giant chocolate creme egg....instead of a hollow egg and two small creme eggs?
(Don't)Lie_to_me
02-20-2008, 02:25 AM
I want that more than I want the Dutch Ladies Volleyball team, 2 jars of honey and a trampoline (which is a lot by the way). Imagine the creamy goodness, you could stick your peni...erm...
Do you eat Creme Eggs with a spoon or just nosh it?
Peterson
02-20-2008, 11:07 AM
I just eat it all in the one go.
How do you eat yours?
Yvonne
02-21-2008, 12:40 AM
i bite the top off and lick out the middle!
are you a fan of chocolate?
(Don't)Lie_to_me

have you ever had your phone lines 'slammed' ?
(Don't)Lie_to_me
02-21-2008, 02:18 PM
Not me personally (I don't have a landline, never have while living alone), but my grandparents did. Took them a while to realise. Ev1l B@st@rds. (For those reading that don't know, slamming is where a phone company switches you without your consent, or even telling you)
Do you still play LPs?
Thomas Anderson
02-21-2008, 02:24 PM
Yes, I certainly do :D
Do you even own a VCR anymore?
Becky
02-21-2008, 03:26 PM
Yes, I do. Good thing since I have about 250 Bon Jovi video tapes I need to convert to DVD! LOL
Did you watch American Idol last night?
Thomas Anderson
02-21-2008, 03:32 PM
No! I can't stand those shows anymore! At first they were slightly interesting, but now they milk them for ages so they're on for too long - the shows last longer than the career of the winners usually. The only decent one I've seen was on BBC here, where they got people with actual talent into a house to live together, work with voice coaches, write their own songs - not people after 15 minutes of fame!
Do you hate reality TV?
Yvonne
02-22-2008, 01:06 AM
some i cant stand and some i watch
do you keep up to date with things in general?

do you think green is a nice colour?
(Don't)Lie_to_me
02-24-2008, 12:05 AM
Yeah, only in a nautural context though. Saying that, I like that emerald colour that was all over the high street last summer.
That sounded so ****ing stupid. :p
Who d'ya think'll win the next Gen. Election (UK, sorry everyone else, unless you're informed about UK party politics :p)?
