I watched this earlier today and really enjoyed it. Also, I could watch the film without thinking of John Travolta as "John Travolta." I actually could think of him as "George." Usually when I watch a film with a highly recognizable star like Julia Roberts (I saw Mona Lisa Smile this week), that's how I see them-->Julia Roberts playing whoever.

Phenomenon is a wonderful movie! Very sad, though.

I agree with you about the big name actors; and i can't really stand it when there's a movie that you know it's the actor...the movie doesn't seem so real anymore, because you know it's an actor, and not an actual character. But Travolta's performance is so good, that he's taken away from the screen and you see the character and not the actor. That's always great.

That is such a beautiful movie, the scene where she cuts his hair... so romantic.. *sigh*

I really liked that movie. I didn't expect the movie to end the way it did though. Took me a little by surprise. It was just on last night and I watched a little of it.
