Agreed, I had The Circle one place higher than SWW, it doesn't mean I think TC is a better record I just tend to like more tracks on the The Circle than I do SWW making it for me a more favourable album, the latter though has more stella performers. I think The Circle is quite rightly lodged in the middle and would probably still be there in 5 years time.

How about 26 years time?

Ha, yeah probably right about that, but for me it will be the same...not like this place is likely to be around to put it to the test though nor me for that matter as I'm not exactly one of the younger post 2000 generation of fans.

I get what you mean. I bought SWW by the time it was all over the charts and I still consider it one of the greatest albums ever. I grew up with that album so it plays an important and continuing role in my life.

Yet I like TC very much. I´m in an obvious minority in here to rank it almost as high as the late 80´s / early 90´s albums. During the last few years, I´ve mainly listened to the post 2000 BJ stuff anyway. If I was to get imprisoned on a desert island today, TC would be the album I´d take there with me.

26 years from now? I may be looking back, longing for the time I was middle-aged. And TC will most probably represent the soundtrack of this era.

SWW is clearly the most important record the band has ever released, that doesn't necessarily mean it's the best.
