Default Notification beep in the song In These Arms?

I'm listening to music and I hear a new e-mail notification sound from my mobile phone. I check my phone and there are no new e-mails. I dismiss it without giving it more attention but then it happens again a few days later.

This time I realized the notification sound was in the song itself. If you listen to In These Arms, be careful at the 4:02 (less audible) and 4:08 mark and you will hear it.

This must be an editing mistake? It sounds like a misplaced keyboard sound.

It's also present on the single edit at 3:47 (less audible) and 3:53 and even the karaoke version.

I can't listen to the song anymore without noticing it which kind of ruins the listening experience.

Yep, I heard it. 4:11 on my track. But your above comment is a little extreme. I mean really. It's hardly even noticeable.

Whatever, the song is totally overrated to begin with.

What? That's one of the best songs they ever did, and one of the best videos, too. The only thing bad about that song is that they never really did do it justice live (soundwise, the synth and/or guitar just sounds so different, they don't blend as well as on the studio track and thus do not sound as "full").

I mean I can't not hear it now and I just wait for the beep every time. I must have listened to the song a hundred times before and didn't notice it but now it's there. It's an annoyance but I still like the song.

I don´t know what you mean xDD
Now I extra listened very carefully a few times to the part of the Song but I don#t find what you mean xD How does it sound like? I heared a few things that someone could interpreat as a Phone ringing, but I heared nothing disturbing or outstanding or anything else I don´t know to what I should hear at xD And I use good headphones. Just can´t imagine the "Phoneringing" you mean. But for that, I hear a Bell ringing in That's what the water made me :P

I just listen to "In These Arms" on my iPhone (which was ripped from my own CD) and I can't hear any beeping of any kind. Nor can I hear it on my CD. Am I missing something?

The weird thing is, I just hear it through my phone speaker and don't hear it through my headphones (which one would think I should).

Yea, the beep around 4:08 you can really hear, the other ones I didn't manage to notice.

But did anyone here noticed the ''huh'' at the end of These Days? Right after the harmonica ends you can hear someone(probably Jon) exhaling like he's exhausted.

Nope, still can't hear anything. Just pressed my phone speaker against my ear at full volume and still nothing. Maybe it's only on remastered or digital download versions of the song? I have the original non-remastered Japanese version of Keep the Faith so maybe that beep comes from a combination of the remastering and/or compressing the file and dynamics.

I can hear this but to me it sounds like a "Yeah".

This thread reminds me of another "glitch" on a Bon Jovi album that was brought up 10 years ago here...

My 7800 Degrees Fahrenheit 1998 remaster had the same weird blip on the opening keys of "Only Lonely", which is not present on the non-remastered CD. Plus the original CD sounds way better anyway, hence why I ditched the remasters in favour of the originals.

Took me a couple of listens on ITA, but you can hear it very lightly in the background (listened to it with my expensive headphones).

Also agree on the end of TD, sounds like "huh" to me as well.
