Jon NEVER stated that he discovered Cinderella.

Even prior to Slippery, Jon was very well respected by his record company and they asked him to got to a club in Philly to check out that band. I don't remember exactly why but I think they were just looking for Jon's input.

Jon gave positive feedback which helped in their signing. That's all
