It's strange, since he looks very different in this interview from December 1991.

I think those images of Jon on the motorcycle may be a recreation or a second trip in the summer of 1992.

I have to watch some parts of the doc again, but if i'm not wrong in those clips in the Doc Jon had his hair shorter and lighter than this clip in 1991, so probably was another trip in the summer of 1992..

Also because i always thought that his famous motorcycle trip was in solitare.

So the summer of 1991 was the period of the original motorcycle trip.

Jon called that period "The grey summer" or something like that...

One thing I was noticing during the Always Wembley performance on the documentary was it sounded different. Like they were just using the clean vocals, or the guitar was missing. I couldn't figure out why it sounded so strange.
I noticed that too!!! But the vocals sounded like they were from a different show entirely. What I DID like about the doc was the editing when it used certain songs it woiuld isolate instruments for emotional effect.

But that version of Always, his phrasing has a bit different from what I've listened to a trillion times.

I noticed too. I initially thought it was from one of the other nights. But as mentioned, so many songs were remixed without certain instrumentation.

It could have been from an entirely different show all together but then that raises the question..... Why?

Throughout the documentary, they didn’t match footage with how it happened in real time. So Paul talking about the band closing out Wembley was correct but the footage was wrong, they were showing 1995.
The motorcycle trip was 1991, straight after BOG & young guns before KTF and it inspired Dry County (definitely before the kids came and Stephanie was born 1992)
They were showing footage from TD and mentioned the children. Stephanie was born during KTF.

A superficial observation... young Jon with the 80s hair AND a beard was a great combo. Never knew he ever grew a beard.

Question: In the Doc, is the New Song that Jon struggles singing on the new album? Or did he end up scrapping that song?

It's on the record.

I Wrote You A Song, track 9.
