Maybe they'd do a one-off performance somewhere down the track, but with the way things have gone down, I'd be surprised Richie was ever a member of Bon Jovi again.

I mean, look at Dream Theater. Could anyone have had imagined them without Portnoy. Never. But splits happen. I don't see Sambora coming back ever again if it's about integrity. On the other hand money may settle any dispute in this world...

Does anyone really care about the RnR Hall Of Fame these days?

I have friends who aren't even into music or even Bon Jovi fans and they ask me why Bon Jovi aren't inducted. Even people who aren't invested know that it's a joke that a band as popular as Bon Jovi aren't in it.

I don't foresee Bon Jovi being inducted until it's a posthumous thing (sorry to be morbid), so I don't think we'll see some grand reunion on that stage.

So I'm going with symbeline and saying when hell freezes over..... which could happen. Ask the Eagles.

Richie will never be back in the band.
David said it a few months ago.
He only will be back for the Hall Of Fame induction.

Richie said never say never. It is clear that they together at some point, even make a new album. Come on guys, even the band of hate as Guns N Roses met. I do not see Jon and Richie say - when hell freezes over. This is to give time slots. Riche is gone for a season, as Steve Van Zant left the E Street Band during a time.

Jon is only showing Richie that will not stop the Bon Jovi machinery for no one.

Which in a way is quite sad. Because to me, Bon Jovi as a band had two equally integral parts that made the band so special - Jon and Richie.

Ignoring the silly last sentence, never say never is exactly the sentiment on all parties. It might happen, it might not. Plenty of bands have had far worse fallings out than Bon Jovi and got it back together.

People need to look on this as a positive- you get Bon Jovi material and Richie material. Whether they are as good individually as the sum of their parts is what we come to discuss, but whilst they are all still alive and making music that's a good thing.

Richie needs his own time to do his own thing and whether he then wants to come back or indeed if the band want him back. I vaguely remember being at the Shepherds Bush gig in 2012, and I'm sure the news about BWC album/tour started to seep out then right in the middle of Richie's tour which seemed a bit of a rush and a bit harsh. But then equally Richie may have already known the timescales that he had, and it's not as if he made a good fist of his tour after that anyway.

There's always the possibility of a reunion, but there's no massive bad blood so we can just wait and see what the future holds. If Axl & Slash can reunite, anyone can. But if they don't? Life goes on.

I don't think that last sentence is silly at all.

That being said, since BJ sans Richie were able to pull off a tour and TWO albums, whereas he has trouble staying sober and in the studio, the balance has shifted even more in Jon's favor. For a reunion to occur, and for Richie to have ANY say, I don't know what would have to happen. Maybe the 35 years anniversary will do the trick, who knows. But I really doubt a new BJ with Richie studio album would be produced by Richie's choice, i.e. Bob Rock.

It's silly because it implies that Bon Jovi are only still going to spite Richie, which simply isn't the case. They want to cintinue making music and touring, they are free to do so.

Both sides are entitled to put out their own music without it being a slight to the other, much as some fans try to make it so.
