How so? The first two singles were even released in the same order and in the same spot tracklisting wise!
The "woman broke my heart"-one was the first single and #2, the "hold on baby, we'll make it"-one was the second single and #3 (and both were co-written by Desmond Child). You had the tailor made for fist pumping in arenas-opener, the cowboy song, the summer anthem (Wild In The Streets & 99 In The Shade) and the "I still love you girl"-ballad, and the uptempo track with lots of open string action (Homebound Train & Raise Your Hands). That's more than half of Slippery.
It was the same formula. No shame in it.
