Default One of the best and most revealing JBJ interviews in a long time

Probably the most chapter and verse version on Richie we will ever get....

It's a good interview. With how casual Jon seems to be around the reporter to some of the things he says, it seems almost like fan fiction. Some of the things I can't imagine him saying. Funny.

Wow, he seems to reveal his real thoughts and feelings.

So alcoholism played a big role in creating this mess... Although, I'd find really interesting Richie's view on these matters.

Thank you OP for sharing this, great interview!

Get help, OK? I’m here to help. You don’t want the help? I can’t force anybody to make lifestyle choices.”
There you go folks. Not that any of this was not obvious by 90% of public appearances Richie has made since he parted. Say what you want about Jon, but he's never been one to talk shit in public if it wasn't justified.

He also had that long pause in the Eddie Trunk interview. I can't believe some people still think Richie has been clean these last two years.

Especially, when there is a such a sharp difference in 2011H2-2013H1 vs. 2013H1-present.

It's part of the whole package when it comes to alcoholism. They always have their enablers who reinforce the blame on others or circumstances. "If only this person didn't do this or this wasn't happening, my beloved wouldn't drink. Go ahead, baby. I'm with you. Have a drink to calm your tortured soul. I know Jon is an evil bastard and the root of all of your problems. " They're essentially partnering up with demon that has taken hold of the person. When Jon is referring to Richie negatively, he's actually referring to that demon and not Richie.

Interesting to see how Richie Sambora will respond to Jon openly discussing his reason why he left the band ( alongside musical differences as well)

Jon is publicly saying Richie you need help, but richie may see it differently. I see no way back with Richie and Jon, unfortunately.

Next a lawsuit for Jon? I hope not. Jon perhaps should have let Richie disclose his Alcohol problems, rather than coming from him but what's done is done.

“There is a generation of anxious young men and women who are being diagnosed for the first time – and maybe it was always there,” Bon Jovi begins. “I get it. But let me give you a little education, motherf***er. Jane just saved up for three months to buy that ticket. She travelled on a train to get there. And she is not going to be able to get a refund for her hotel room, or her travel, or the day she took off from work, or the babysitter she paid for. And the 120 families that are affected when they didn’t get their pay cheque at the end of the week because you didn’t show up for the f***in
I absolutely love this in reference to Justin Bieber and his ilk just casually cancelling shows.
