Agreed. It's more the verses that sound like Larger than Life and the chorus that sounds like every song ever.

It's kinda been on overkill in the past decade, though.

Two of the new snippets of Richies album held the same progression, Our Secret Place and the "Moments of Our Past" (wrong title I know). It's a classic pop chord progression that never will die.

Has Richie ever spoken about what his feelings on Bobby being in the live band are? It's got to grate on him a bit that Bobby was at least in part brought in to cover his mistakes, and I can't recall ever seeing them interact on stage - so has he ever made his feelings known?

I'm not a musician by any means but I think the opinion of Bobby being there to cover Richie's mistakes is absolutely ridiculous! Is that even possible? I'm sure someone will have an answer...... but seriously, if Richie made a mistake what the heck is Bobby going to do to fix it?

Yeah, I don't get that either. It's like saying another car rides along in case the first one gets a flat tire. It's not as if you can switch tires while driving.

Alright, not so much cover his mistakes then (although the more guitar there is in the mix, the less audible any mistake would be), but as people have speculated earlier in the topic, to cover if at the last minute Richie is unable to perform

On most songs you can't even hear Bobby. He isn't essential and adds nothing extra to the live experience.

In fact he takes away from it by hacking his way through solos Richie should be playing. Jon lost it on the HAND tour, the extra keyboard player was just ridiculous. Now he needs to get rid of Bob too.
