Not a bad start:

1. Lay Your Hands On Me - Giants Stadium
2. I'll Be There For You - Philly / Giants Stadium
3. Blood on Blood - Moscow
4. Runaway (Paris 1988 )
5. Tokyo Road (Rio 1990)
6. Shooting Star (London 1990)
7. Bad Medicine - Milton Keynes 1989

If you some Rotterdan'89, be more specific...

Hi friends!

Very interesting idea, but I still cannot understand, why fans must do things like that? There's a lot of great stuff in the vault, but we are still forced to listen to old shows in terrible quality, where the band sounds worse than they actually was. Hammersmith 1990 should be released as 2CD live album. Rotterdam 1989 should be released as DVD/Blu-ray (this kind of release is physically possible, because the concert was recorded by multiple cameras). Why Bon Jovi doesn't release these stuff? It's still rhetorical question.

Anyway, we have some pro recordings, but 90% of them are in shitty quality. Here is my list of all soundboard tracks of the era. I hope it will be helpful.

This is 47-50 minutes of music for now, so we have only another 30 minutes to fill 1CD.

My picks:
- Born to Be My Baby (Rotterdam 1989)
- Livin' on a Prayer (Milton Keynes 1989) - good one to end whole compilation
- You Give Love a Bad Name (Moscow 1989)
- I'll Be There for You (Santiago 1990)

Very well compiled, Denmad! I'd like to add:
-You Give Love A Bad Name (2010 Special Edition - pretty sure it's from the later part of the NJ tour)
-I'd Die For You / Tokyo Road (Giants Stadium 1989)

Livin In Sin - Osaka 1989
Bad Name - Paris 1989
Born to be my baby - Giants '89 + Rotterdam '89
I'll be there for you - Giants '89

Not soundboard quality, but added lyrics + participation from crowd, are superb.

You missed the topic

I really like the Born To Be My Baby version from Tokyo 1991. With the band being more split up than being together at that point they had an energy on stage which was just incredible. And the band does a really good job with the backing vocals which you can hear when Jon jumps back on stage after the solo and misses the first line of the chorus.

Hey, Great List! and Thanks for taking the time to put this together... I just compared it to my collection and it all checks out. I didn't realize that Runaway from Giants Stadium had a Soundboard audio from a radio station so thanks for that info... If you want to get really crazy, with a little clever editing and looping, you could get a soundboard of Bad Medicine from Giants Stadium through the below link... Maybe not the entire song but enough for a good listen...Check it out...

On a different note, I agree that it's a shame that we never got anything official... But back then, they were only 4 albums deep with no solo records yet and their sets were only around 17 songs... There were also a lot of repeat sets and with the exception of the songs Jon improvised on, making this fan version is more than practical. It's obvious that we have enough soundboard... Now a BluRay DVD is what I really want... And Hammersmith being my show of choice... I don't think it will ever happen...

Be aware that this footage is not from the show at Giants Stadium, but from the band's concert at the New Meadowlands Arena in March of 1989. That Bad Medicine version was actually released:

Ah good call but is that the same version? They sound different to me. I don't hear fireworks or Jon saying goodnight.

Just checked and it was mislabelled. This Youtuber lists it as "New Jersey 1989", the LYHOM single listed it as "Wembley 1988", while it actually was recorded in Paris 1988
