You can argue about his sloppiness, that's one thing but come on! Only real rockstar in the band. Ever.
This makes absolutely no sense!!! You need to elaborate... He looked like Nikki Sixx's ugly sibling... what did he do that made him the only rock star in Bon Jovi???

WAN and THINFS are full of Bon Jovi clichés and nothing new (except for Jon's acoustic stuff, still don't understand why people don't like it). Every album befor WAN was a 'fight' a 'change' comparing to the previous one. BB has some excellent songs...

🙂
No!!! The comments weren't exactly the same when for WAN...

Didn't know Alec was on Jovitalk.

That's not a song sequence. That's random songs. You're missing the point.

What they are saying is, choose 3 better songs that play one after the other on an album.

I actually like Shanks playing. Loved the guitar work on Burning Bridges and from the live show last week, I enjoyed his work on this album.

Don't rate his work that high as a producer but I like his playing.

Yes, still no song sequence...

After the London? WAN show, fans on here were saying the new songs were the best since These Days, just like now. Could you explain why you think thinfs songs have a similar quality? I just don't see it. Some of them have potential (imagine Real Love with a blazing guitar solo for example), some are ok, but IMO there is no songs we've heard so far that could compare to These days, Destination, Aftermath,...

I love Shanks' guitar work on BB, though after watching his live performances, I think he's more of a studio player. Haven't heard guitar work from the promos of the new songs as good as Teardrop, WWYDF, Fingerprints,... shame

I'm sorry but I'm just not interested in your topic anymore... Bottom line, Aftermath as an album does NOTHING for me. Besides 7 years, everything else is crap...

And people weren't praising WAN like it was the best thing since These Days... First off, only half the album was played in London so it wouldn't get that fair judgment... I'm With You was the big winner which people were saying that this sounds like it could be something off of These Days but the songs played weren't referenced as the best thing since These Days... To really put an end to this , just go back and find that thread... (We are talking about the fans as a whole... Not just that one annoying fan who says it with every release)...

My bashing of Richie wasn't because I'd never liked him - or that I preferred Jon over him - he was my idol growing up. It was because he'd acted like an arsehole.

It's that simple.

That's fine, just a shame you go off on one without wanting to discuss things. I find discussing and debating great
