I love Misunderstood. I think it's one of the best singles of their last decade for sure.

I agree.

The good thing about Misunderstood is that it is a nice pop song and doesn't try to be more than this like "Welcome to wherever you are" or "Superman tonight". The lyrics are quite funny and the melody is great.

The only time I heard it live was back in 2003 and it got a great response from the audience.

I strongly believe that if Undivided and The Distance had been released as singles instead of Everyday and All About Lovin' You, this album would had been a huge success, even bigger than Crush, not that I prefer Bounce over Crush nor I dislike All About Lovin' You and Everyday, but that combo of singles is killer, sadly Jon believed so bad in Everyday when in fact is a truly mediocre song, a plastic and awfully made clone of It's My Life.
Undivided is a true Rock song, with good lyrics and a real optimistic message on it, The Distance is the best ballad on the album, and Misunderstood is a fresh pop song that was correctly released as a Single and like someone above said, it did not attempted to be something else or more than that.
If I were BJ I'd had released my bottom 3 only as bonus tracks and b-sides, and now speaking about bonus and b-sides, if more work were done to We Can Dance and Postcards From The Wasteland they could have been not only album tracks but even singles and Big Hit Singles IMO.

14.Undivided (Best Rock song with Last Man Standing from 2000 decade)
13.Hook Me Up (great song live too)
12.No Regrets (It's better than many others)
11.Everyday (The formula "live my life" began to repeat, but it's still the best of this album)
10.Bounce (Not my favorite. But it is a decent rock song)
5. Misunderstood (decent pop song)
4. The Distance (acceptable filler)
3. Love me back to life (possibly the only ballad I can bear on this record)

The other songs from album, I can not rate them, are very common songs and not awake interesting in me.

However, "Another Reason to Believe", "Standing" and "Alive" very good rock songs, better than ballads. It could have been a kick ass album. I have always imagined how they could play live "Alive" and "Another reason to Believe".
