Exactly!!!

15. Dirty Little Secret
14. Complicated
13. Welcome to Wherever You Are
12. Last Man Standing
11. Have a Nice Day
10. I Am
09. Unbreakable
08. I Want to Be Loved
07. Novocaine
06. Story of My Life
05. Bells of Freedom
04. Last Cigarette
03. These Open Arms
00. Wildflower
00. Who Says You Can't Go Home

It’s a very strange album for me with some really great songs but also with 2 of my personal TOP 5 worst BJ tracks. Just like some of you say, the worst thing about WSYCGH is that it started that whole country adventure that in my case led to 2 other worst songs – ILTT and TMTC. And also the fact it is hugely overplayed during live shows only made situation worse.
On the bright side, I absolutely love DLS, and it should have been an original album track and not some bonus one. I can’t understand the hate for Complicated but for some WSYCGH is brilliant so - each to their own. And I have a really special place in my heart for WTWYA – it helped me stand back on my feet at one of the worst moments of my life, and that’s mostly because of its lyrics, but I love the melody of the song too.
Songs from spot #4-10 are all very solid ones and very close in the ranking for me and actually it’s hard to decide which one is better than the other, but I had to rank them somehow anyway.

And on the side note, Savvi, I think you should really reconsider adding bonus tracks to these polls. Too many people boycott this fact by giving them 0 points, which also leads to the fact they vote for 12 not 15 songs (in this case) which automatically disturbs all the final scores too, because for them #1 is 12 pts while it should have been 15 pts etc. Makes no sense at all to me. So we all should either include them, no matter what version of the album we have at home (we know all these songs anyway), or we all should drop them for good. Just my thought but of course you make the final decision how this works.

Yes I have heard it a time or two. The TLFR version has far more instrumentation and production than what I described (or what I meant to describe). It might be primarily "acoustic" but it certainly isn't stripped. It still has an electric guitar, drum loops, pads and various keyboards, and big harmony. But speaking of the box set, I was thinking more of a "Nobody's hero" or "Gotta Have a Reason" type of production (or lack thereof).

GOD, that'd be AMAZING. Strip it down to one guitar, two voices and MAYBE a piano.

Exactly! It's good to know someone else can hear it. Now we can just wish in one hand and...

Where's the problem? You can record it, right? I listen to your songs on regular basis (Novocaine, Whole Lot Of Leaving, Santa Fe, Brokenpromiseland and If I Was Your Mother)

No problem I suppose. Richie is a far better guitar player and can provide much better harmony than I can. Who knows, maybe I will give it a try.
