Well, we are ranking HAND, so I decided to listen to it from the very beginning to its end with the bonus tracks (I have the japanese version at home), after listening I was... confused, so I listened again, and again and again, I listened to it four times and now I have to admit this is NOT a bad album, yes, it has its weak point but overall it works and it works great! Now I must take back (with some shame) my old words about this album and admit before you that now I LIKE this album a lot!

I still hate John Shanks because of his "techniques" of recording and no-demoing among other stuff ... but the album is a very good one, and I prefer it over The Circle, I believe it's a great improvement from Bounce and I'd say it's their second best post 2000 album (Being CRUSH the best). So here's my ranking (wich was hard to decide):

There are awesome songs, good ones and some meh ones, but, all in all it's a good album, the only one song I can't stand is Complicated, it's so simple... and if Nothing were included on the album it'd probably be on my Top 3.

Personally my favourite album from band. Why it's nr1 if they realised other masterpieces like NJersey or TDay?? It's all about me. It's all about my point of looking at world, people, life ecc. I can relate with every song from this CD. And mucially it's very close to my favourite style of rock -> Modern Rock/Indie Rock. After Bounce/TLFRight which I didn't love I waited for album wchich give something for me. It would be awesome if they make HAND 2 in the future but if they won't do it it's ok I have album which I absolutelly love. DLSecret and I Am are songs nr 2 (DLS) and nr 4 (I Am) from my personal best Bon Jovi songs ever. Many great memories with this album - for example my first BJ concert (Stuttgart 2006/ Support Nickelback).


Absouletly fantastic songs - more than 15 pts:
15.Dirty Little Secret - all is amazing. Voice, lyrics, guitar, production ecc.
14.I Am - another amazing track. Both with DLS should be singles.

Songs with which should have max 15 pts:

13.Last Cigarette - Catchy and funny. I love it! Very fast song. Chorus is epic.

12.Complicated - Nasty song. Smart lyrics.

11.I Want To Be Loved - Awesome lyrics, Masterpiece. Great Hard Rock song.

10.Have A Nice Day - I would change little production. Demo sound little better. And in demo Jon great sing line "Have A Nice Day". They could put this part somwhere in finall version + solo. I agree that it was their last BIG hit in Europe. In Poland this song spend 44 days on Top 20 in biggest Polish Radiostation. 10 weeks and 7times number 1. It do it well and win many votes with many other big hits here like Don't Cha - PDolls, You're Beautiful - J.Blunt, Ringside - Tired Of Being Sorry, What's In It For Me - A.Diamond or Smak Słów - Goya (our Polish big hit). I love video. I love cover of album and idea of promotie it.

09.Who Says You Can't Go Home - I think it's fantastic song. Great, catchy I loved it from first time i heard it. I think lyrics are something like Wanted.

08.These Open Arms - Very good ballad. Beautifull lyrics and chorus.

07.Welcome TWYAre -> Cheesy lyrics?? Maybe but they are brilliant. I love it. Very beautifull chorus. Great song which make you feel better.

06.Story oMLife - Great lyrics.

05.Last Man Standing - when I read that it re-recorded it for new album I wasn't sure that it was good idea. When on bonjovi.pl I listened part of that song (solo) I was schoked how great it sound. I love both version but LMS in that version is really brilliant rock. Great Richie work.

04.Bells Of Freedom - Really good Anthem. Great lyrics and Jon on vocal.

Before we get into the results, can I just reiterate what I've said before about posting your scores. If you are giving a song zero points, PLEASE say so - don't just leave it off your list. There were several people who voted and left off one or two songs. It makes it confusing for me because I cant be sure whether you are giving it a zero or if you have accidentally missed a song (especially if the track is not a bonus track).

And secondly, please don't copy and paste the person's votes before you and change them to suit your scores. Some people may have missed a few songs or left them out, so if you copy and paste theirs then you might miss out on a song as well. If you do copy and paste, please make sure all songs are there.

And finally, please don't vote for songs that clearly aren't on the track listing. Eg. giving points to Edge of a Broken Heart or giving two scores to WSYCGH (one for the country version and one for the rock version). It just makes the scoring even more confusing as I dont count any votes for songs that are not on the opening post of the thread or votes that are awarded to the same song.
