You've fail to grasp the idea haven't you ? You can't invent a song list.
Also if you think "we've both got jobs to pay " is a bad line then.....oh wait your a HAND fan so you like lyrics like god knows your perfect he makes no mistakes!" And WSYCGH !!!

Sorry just over protective of NJ!!
Slow down.
"God knows you are" is cheap and cheesy lyrics but ok for me. I have no problem with that.
"We both got job" is embarassing line. I don't know how they can wrote this one. Even if it's on my fav song on CD.
And Yes I can put my own tracklist of NJersey on my music player. Why? Because I Can ;D

12 pts: Born To Be My Baby
11 pts: Blood On Blood

These two are pretty much equal. BTBMB is a bit catchier and has a perfect solo, so it gets the nod, but BOB is more epic. They're both great songs.

10 pts: Wild Is The Wind
9 pts: I'll Be There For You

Same here. WITW gets the nod since I'm not as burnt on it, and the modulation is even cheesier (but works in the songs favor). All of the songs so far are 8,5+.

8 pts: Bad Medicine
7 pts: Stick To Your Guns

Stick To Your Guns is a great tune IMO, but it usually gets a pretty bad rep. Oh well. Bad Medicine is a classic, but the chorus melody is rather... it's uber-simple, really, which is why it works, but still.

6 pts: Love For Sale

5 pts: Living In Sin
4 pts: Homebound Train

Not sure which I prefer from these two. Love For Sale is better, but other than that, these are all fine, but not great tracks hoversing around the 7/10 mark.

3 pts: Lay Your Hands On Me
2 pts: 99 In The Shade

Lay Your Hands on Me takes too long to get started IMO. It might work live, but the studio version is... meh, it's not what I want from Bon Jovi. Not a bad song, but the album is filled with better tunes. 99 In The Shade is pretty much a filler, but it's fun.

1 pt: Ride Cowboy Ride

Well, it's just an into, pretty much. In the form of an intro it works, but as an individual song, it's the last place for me.

GREAT album by the way. The stuff up to 7 points could all possibly qualify for a self-made BJ best of - there's tons of strong songs on here.

One of the greatest rock albums of all time. I still remember that long-awaited afternoon back in the autumn of 1988, running home from the record store with the album in my hands, on the day it was released.

There is no modulation in WITW. There are no fillers on New Jersey

12] Blood on blood (surprise, surprise)
11] Born to be my baby
10] Bad Medicine
09] Homebound train
08] 99 in the shade
07] Lay your hands on me
06] I'll be there for you
05] Wild is the wind
04] Living in sin
03] Stick to your guns
02] Ride cowboy ride
01] Love for sale

Had to write 'em down quickly, just use that first instinct. The only way to do it

I remember sitting on the bus after picking up this album. I must've been 12 or something. I'd heard LYHOM and Bad Med before, and when Jon's count to Born to... began, I almost wet myself. The whole song was musical ecstasy, I had never heard something that excited me as much, the drive that song had... Anyway, killer album. Anyone with a half a brain should recognise the brilliance and creativity that has gone to the songwriting, producing and playing.

I have to add, that it's gonna be a shame how low Cowboy and Love for sale are going to end up, since the lack of these kinds of songs is one of the many things that has been disappointing in recent albums. The risk of putting a whole song (in bad quality)as an intro to Stick... and ending the album with a drunken live jam paid off. To me, at least.
