Seems like I'm the only man on the planet that thinks that WDOA is terribly overrated. Can't understand the hype for it.

This album got me into Bon Jovi when I was around 10 or 11. It's not my favourite, but still a very good fun rock album.

IDFY is one of my overall favourites, there's such a passion it. And I love the lyrics.

The only "filler" is "Without Love". I like the track, it's not bad, but it could've been replaced by sth stronger (like "Edge Of A Broken Heart" or "Borderline"). "Never Say Goodbye" is a good song, but never did never get very close with me. I prefer the acoustic version.

Eh, I love the record for what it meant to the band, but I hardly ever listen to it anymore. I'm burned out on the Big Three after hearing them ad naseaum for the last 26 years. I enjoy Prayer and Wanted live because I know they have to be there but I don't flip my lid over them like I used to.

I listened to the entire album again before posting. I do feel that there is something missing - most probably Edge of a Broken Heart. I'm wondering how SWW would have done with that put into the track listing somewhere. Social Disease was incredibly racy and provocative, maybe EOABH could of replaced it? Might have made the album a little more 'family-friendly'

Overall, I like this album. Although I believe it still has too many traits and characteristics of the first two albums - the excessive use of harmonics, in some songs the kind of 'chorus' sounding backing vocals. In hindsight, SWW also shows a lot of characteristics common to New Jersey - sort of like a gateway between Fahrenheit a NJ?

Anyway, it's got its good points, and also its bad. Good album.

It's the 21st biggest selling album of all time - would EOABH made that much difference sales wise?

I think they should have released IDFY as a single though.

I was thinking more along the lines of it possibly decreasing sales. But we'll never know.
