Did you agree with everything else he said too? That article was a riot. But I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who takes Metal Sludge seriously.

Richie always puts a Blues dynamic to any song he sings. That is simply his style, it's where his musical heart lies.

Songs like "Wanted Dead or Alive" and "I'll Be There For You" work well with that inflection.

I have seen both Richie and Jon perform "Wanted" during their respective solo tours, Richie's version is always bluesy. Jon's version is the more traditional BJ style. As individuals, this is who they are.

I don't really care who sings it or how it is sung as long as the song is played because it is a great song.

I prefer Richie's version of Wanted........ and for that matter IBTFY :P

When it comes to Jon solo or Richie solo I prefer Riche's, too. Because Jon sings it exactly the same as with Bon Jovi and I miss Richie's voice then. Richie sings it his own way and Jon's voice isn't missing. The same for Prayer.
