Really? Because I´m Spanish and I´ve been in Madrid, Barcelona and Dublin and in all of them I didn´t hear any satisfaction feeling when they play it..

In fact, in the spanish bon jovi forum fans we know "captain Crush..." as "the perfect song to take a break and go to buy a beer"

That's why he said die-hards are the ones complaining about it. I don't want to see that song anywhere near a set list as I cannot stand it, but I imagine if I was a casual or turning up to see Bon Jovi because they have that kind of fame, I would probably be swinging my arms wildly too.

Truth! Been to 10 shows or so last tour (Stadiums and in-door arenas) Captain Crash was included in all setlists and everybody but me (?) seemed happy they were playing it :/

Actually that happened with quite a few songs I hate, and they... well, HE makes up those lists based on audience reaction.

In Vegas there was this girl wearing a shirt that read "Thick as thieves" and Obie asked if we liked that song... The girl said she loved it and he said "it probably won't be played again because from what we got from the last 6 concerts, people hates it..."

(Sorry my english sucks )

The one I attended didn't have a Q&A or I SWEAR I would have asked (I have no intention to go to one of those events EVER again anyway)

Theres no ridiculous rules at all accept dont be disrespectful.

I dont get why anyone would want to embarrass a man in front of a room full of his fans. Im not saying its not a valid question, this is just not the forum for it.

Because, really, if I had the chance to ask him anything, I'd ask a million questions I have about the band. I certainly wouldn't waste my chance doing a captious question about something that he might be aware of and working on.

I honestly don't think Jon's feelings would get hurt if someone asked him about his voice. He's brought up his vocal problems (between the lines, of course) a couple of times during the last few years - for example, in this BBC radio interview last year. Listen to what Jon says from here on:

https://youtu.be/qH45ZhVoVF8?t=5m25s

He's fully aware of it. If someone directly asked him about it, his answer would probably be something like this:

"Well... first of all, I'm out. I'm old. I'm tired. I mean, I'm f***ing nearing on 56, hahaha! Then, when I think about all the hassle that's been happening during the last four or five years, I can't really help it. It's... (ten seconds' break)... it's been really hard for me to take. It's moments like this when you just want to give yourself the finger and say "Look at this mess around you, f***er, you're hurt. But you're healing." And I'm trying to do so all the time. It probably won't be anytime soon, but I'll get there again. I just need time. Thanks for asking."

IMO, the example above looks/sounds pretty much like what I'd imagine JBJ to reply, with all the curse words, pauses and everything. I just wish somebody had the balls to ask him about it. Truth to be told, Backstagers definitely wouldn't be happy, and Jon himself would probably get a bit off-track for a while (as he wouldn't be expecting it), but I'm certain that he would at least give some kind of an answer to the question.
