If it is really him. But I don't care, though I am usually much more loving at 6 am. I hope he replies.

Imagine there was Twitter when Metallica released St. Anger. My oh my, Bob Rock would have needed military protection.

I like the fact that people now have the means to make their point of view clear. John Shanks sucks, it's good he's told.

He produced both the best and the worst post-2000 album. Not sure he's the at the core of the band's problems.

I agree - and I don't think it's disrespectful at all. The man is a public figure and as Florin said - people now have the means to make their point of view clear. And they have It's part of the business.

Considering your character type, I wouldn't expect you to but calling out a professional producer because you are not happy with the final product is a selfish disrespectful act of ignorance.

John Shanks is a world famous music producer who's skills go way beyond. What we say on this board is one thing but just because YOU aren't happy with the musical direction, does not deserve any bashing at all because other people might not share that same opinion.

Considering what he has to work with, aka Jon's vocals, in addition to the direction he gets from Jon, he might be pulling in miracles for all we know.

Even though Shank's production style overstayed its welcome with Bon Jovi albums, doesn't mean that he deserves any type of bashing or negative criticism! He's better then Ebbin and a brilliant man!!!

I don't have a problem with criticising the wok of someone who advertises their work in a public forum, however there is way of going about presenting such criticism that is respectful. The OP's tweet is mean-spirited and absent of any sort of reasonable insight as to why the individual's work is perceived to be poor. It's cheap, disrespectful, and stupid. As such, it is easy to ignore and serves no purpose. Pointless thing to do that simply casts the OP is a very bad light.
