''A few songs into the show, he underlined his empathy with Israel by introducing a new song called “We Don’t Run,” released earlier this summer, with the comment: “This should be the fight song for Tel Aviv.''

Jon's voice was marginally better in KTF but then he's shouting the entire chorus just to hit those notes. By this point he must be completely aware of his vocal problems.

1. Off course he's aware, he's always aware. He decides the setlist, so it's him who removes many of more difficult songs. Compare the typical 2010-11 set with 2015. Obvious difference.
2. He does sound a bit better than I would've expected from listening to other songs. Still shit on the chorus though.
3. Where are the maracas? EDIT: Oh, he took them later in the song when he was no longer singing. So there's another argument for point no. 1
4. Phil X is amazing in this song.

Jon just said he doesn't care, nothing too aggressive.

He does not even hit them though... It's really painful to hear. And see.
