That was a good interview. As the years roll on, he's getting a bit more open and less scripted when being interviewed. Yes the same old stuff is still there but there's been less and less of it lately. Now if only we could get someone to really ask him about what he's gonna do about his voice.....

I'd really love to see him give a long and good explanation for why his voice sounds like it does. But I'm guessing he'd say something about his age, his excesive touring and smoking, and he'd probably say that he even used steroids on the SWW because his voice was so shot.

Also his voice has gotten alot deeper in this past decade. Up untill 2000 or so he sounded like a teenager and after 2000 his voice slowly started to get deeper and deeper. When I got into Bon Jovi back in 2011 I remember I could still scream like a little girl and now I can barely make those squeal noises like he did on Damned in 2011 in Oslo and I'm no where near 50.
Just check out these 2 interviews

1990

around 2013

You can clearly hear how deep his voice has gotten since his younger days. If his voice continues to get thicker I'm guessing he'll sound like Tico in 2025.

Dave Bergman (via Facebook): "Here’s some news: Tonight I fly from NYC to Tel Aviv to photograph Bon Jovi’s last show on their current mini-tour. It’s my first visit to Israel, and I’m pretty excited to get back out on the road and reunite with the band, crew, and fans."

Roger Waters wrote a letter to Jon, David and Tico

Roger Waters to Jon Bon Jovi: “You stand shoulder to shoulder with the settler who burned the baby”

This is retarded. I'm not a fan of Israel but the truth is that you can't punish the band's fans because of the government politics. It's like when I see that people want to put political causes or claims on sports (i.e. Argentina on the Falklands)... totally stupid IMO. People should have the capacity of separate things.

I think that the "mixing everything" is a fault on nowadays society: "Firefox CEO donated for anti-gay campaigns years ago, we need to fire him because he surely will be a bad CEO!", "you just made a black humour joke, that's so insensitive, you must be a shitty person!", "You're playing on Israel, then you are standing with [all the things Waters said]!". Like if donating for an anti-gay campaign means that you're going to discriminate every homosexual person that you see and be a bad CEO, or like making black humour makes you insensitive racist discriminative murderer, or if like wanting to play in a country for your fans make you a supporter #1 of the political choices of their government.

This kind of exaggerated social justice everywhere makes me a little bit mad.

I couldn’t agree more. Here in Brazil, we’re living this extremely hard in these days. If you have an opinion against homosexual, you are homophobic. If you want the president impeachment because this government is destroying Brazil you are a kind of coup. It's craziness.

Roger Waters trying to act like a saint is not new, but this kind of attitude let me perplex. He’s using his status on music (or his band's status) to try determine what others people have to do or think. There’s fans of Pink Floyd in Israel? What do they think about it? He just doesn’t care? Great way to be thankful for those who put you where you are.

I’m not against artists give their opinion about politics and others subjects. But this is a stupid and very coward attitude. I’m glad that Jon is wise, he have his political positions but knows how to show them and even influencing people with them.
