Yes, he did.

Why can not Jon keep his voice as Bryan Adams?

Bryan Adams is an exception. His rasp is still awesome to this day. His tone sounds more or less the same, if he were to actually put some effort behind his new stuff he would still be having hits. But maybe he likes it that way....

I love Bryan Adams. He sounds consistently great live.

But no, in the current scene he would not be having hits. Aerosmith doesn't have hits despite Steven's voice being in good shape. U2 doesn't have hits and Bono's been on a roll vocally the past few years. Rolling Stones put out 2 new songs a couple of years ago, and they weren't hits even though Jagger is the same mediocre singer he's been his whole career.

Once rock stars hit a certain age, their chances of scoring a true hit are once in a blue moon. I really can't remember another example besides I Don't Want To Miss A Thing. Hell if Jon still had his 90s voice, I don't think their singles would've been that much more commercially successful either.

Yeah I was probably over reaching when saying "hit" but it is frustrating how much his newer stuff sucks and how flat and lazy it all sounds...

Jon said that the band will get together "tomorrow" (today) to rehearse for the tour. Nice.
