I have never heard country music in Singapore and I'm sure the majority of the population hasn't either. Some of the past headliners include Maroon 5, The Killers, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Linkin Park.

In short, I don't think Jon's going to win the crowd over if he goes out there with his acoustic guitar and that twang in his voice for most songs. :/

Expecting rarities is definitely the most naive part of it all, considering these are shows in locations they've either never played before or haven't played in a long time. Shows like that get safe setlists even when they're on a proper tour, even when Jon's voice is in decent condition. None of which is the case here, obviously.

They probably won't start with Water and replace it with something like Raise Your Hands or Last Man Standing, but otherwise, I expect 90% vanilla BWC tour set with zero ballads. Maybe in one of the last shows Jon will go for Always, which would then remind us all why he doesn't do it on a regular basis.
Yeah I was kind of meaning the next tour overall since i view this upcoming bunch of shows as the start of the next tour, but I guess you're right, it's a bunch of one off shows strung together as a warm ups. No new songs will see the light of day either except Jon might want to try and play 'Reunion' to test it out....

Pretty much this.
Country music = not big in Asia.

That'll never feel right.

Because it's not a true statement. The "trio" didn't achieve anything. It took all five guys, not to mention the host of people in the background, to achieve that global recognition! They just as easily could have said, "Debuting in 1984...the band...", but it seems they felt the need to make a point. (Not, you understand, that anyone would dream of suggesting that PR might be used to "make a point" here or there, ahem...)

But WTH, Bon Jovi's PR has been revising history for probably 29-1/2 of their 30 years, anyway.

They might want to consider a new publicity photo, however, unless they want to continue to send mixed signals. (But then, maybe the "trio" is too busy recording while Huey's, idk, ... making coffee runs or something?)

All that aside, though, I get what you mean, and I totally agree. Makes me sad.

Well said. With all the personnel drama, there's zero reason to state how many band members there are. If it's just to hammer home that you shouldn't buy tickets and expect Richie there, there has to be a better way than phrasing to erase his accomplishments.

Don't know if this is on the Phix X thread, I didn't see it - if it's a duplicate, sorry. Don't know if people actually wondered or assumed but PhilX is on the 2015 Tour.
