No video as of yet -- they must have strip-searched everyone for cameras.

If you meant official photos on album sleeves and promo work, that will never happen, just like it's never happened with Hugh. Now stop ****ing trolling....

You mean an official video posted by the band? On maybe an official youtube channel?

Any video from Austin so we can hear how he sounds, like with this fan-shot video from Nashville.
Ludicrous conspiracy theory alert -- Were smartphones prohibited? Did the attendees have to sign something?

Yes, I did mean official publicity shots. But since it's too late for Bon Jovi to pass themselves off as a three-member rock band one of which is not the guitarist (their "reward" for not featuring Hugh), officially adding a guitarist is exactly what ought to happen.

If I apologized for trolling, I would be trolling. So I'll go finish sifting through all the conspiracy theories about Prince's death.

It's throwing the guitarist a bone. They're not a band without a guitarist. They're a band without their original guitarist. Many, many bands have a revolving door of members. Better a new guitarist than a new singer, IMO, as many of Bon Jovi's peers from back in the day have struggled with.
Disagree. After 30 years of history, and being a well-documented fan, it is a shame to read this. You are the example of "Jon goggles".

I don't necessarily agree with the "Jon goggles" tit-for-tat side of the argument, but I am surprised anyone can think they're as good live without Richie. The show I saw, and any video I've seen since, just comes across like a pale imitation of a band who were already quite the shadow of their former selves.

That's what they've been for a while now with or without Richie. The problem is, we have a front-man who is struggling vocally, who is also slowing down physically. Even if Richie was to return, I don't think he could wave his magic guitar and poof, it's 2005 again. Richie's got his own issues now and although it would make all the fans feel warm & whole again, once people get adjusted, they'll find a whole slew of things to complain about.

I think if anything, Richie being gone gets the rest of the guys off auto-pilot.

After having seen enough concerts with the current band, I must say that, a BJ concert with Richie (even with auto-pilot) is more exciting than now.

It's Richie's backing vocals that are sorely missed. At least for me.

Yea...even in 2013 Richie still had those cool backing vocals that made every song special. Phil X is a great guitar player and he also has a great voice, just checkout his solo performances of Highway To Hell and You Shook Me all Night Long, but when it comes to backing vocals he really isn't that great.

I can't believe there are no videos! They were either very strict (which they don't seem to have been in the past) or people are slow at uploading/aren't uploading. Did anyone here attend?
