No Richie on current leg of the tour

I don't think Richie cares about this album and tour. He'd prefer if he was doing his solo tour.

If he gets bored he might say I'm ready to come back.

I don't think he is leaving the tour so he can do his own music. For one thing, he would be tied up in so many legal entanglements with Bon Jovi contracts that he probably couldn't record or tour even if he wanted to until the legalities are resolved. Also given his track record with his solo career over the last 3 solo efforts and his leaving the tour last year for rehab (and if he now truly was abandoning the Bon Jovi tour), who would want to hire him? He would be uninsurable. Doesn't make sense.

They have ****ed up big time with this. I think it has snowballed more than they even thought. I think the initial statement was going to be enough for them and they just imagined they would just do this leg of the tour and that's it, Richie's back, lets move on but it's not going away. More stories are coming out and they are doing a hack job on their side. Matt being the only one talking about it, posting the picture of Jon, David and Tico on FB and then having to take it down and now this article? WTF?

When Richie returns (and I think he will) the scrutinizing that he and Jon will be under will be in overload. Are they fighting? Are they talking? They smiled at each other? is that fake or real?

I'm a little lost, which article is Matt talking about?

Oh, I can't wait for the conspiracy theories on here to start with certain people scrutinizing all the youtube videos. ''ZOMG!!1one1! Jon didn't smile after Richies solo, he hates him!'' and ''Look, you can CLEARLY see on the 1min35sec mark that Jon gives Richie the stinky eye and flips him the finger when he's not looking!!1''. *gets popcorn*

and now they are removing it from their page because it states things that have not been said by Jon (this is what Matt says ) I think I may be wrong it changes very quickly in the jovi land posted endorsed removed etc etc

In brackets in the beginning paragraph. The reporter added into Jon's quote (Phil X has replaced Sambora for the rest of the tour). This interview was posted on the official website and some took it as an official statement that Richie is not coming back.

Ah, I see. That parenthesis is a bit misleading, but it still reads pretty clearly that it's not part of Jon's quote. People are grasping for things.
Also, off-topic (as if that matters in this thread) but has that story about the Fighter been told before? I don't recall hearing the bit about his kids.
