Unbelievable. I think Jon needs to wake up and realise this is the beginning of the end.
It's just not meant to be anymore.

He's not closing the books on anything. He's responding to the small but vocal bunch who kiss his ass on twitter. They're still celebrating the one year anniversary of Aftermath.

Is it possible they mistook the gall bladder injury/infection for the appendix one? Or is it common to take place 1-2 weeks after an operation? Perhaps infection during the operation/stay in hospital? Anyhow, sad, poor Tico, get well soon!

I wonder if Tico was still stateside when this latest emergency happened or was already traveling. It certainly sounds like between appendicitis and gall bladder attacks, he has been in pain for a couple of weeks at least. Recovery can be fast but probably out for the South American leg at least. I think the reasons they needed to carry on without Richie are the same for carrying on without Tico. Too bad Jon & Richie can't resolve things and at least bring Richie back. Obviously it is something between the two of them as certainly there has been no similar heart-felt messages from Jon as was posted about Tico's situation.

Any one besides me wonder if Richie watched the live feed last night? Wonder what he would have been thinking?

Well Richie has been sucking in his own way live with Bon Jovi for some time now, so he would be wrong to be too negative.

Jonīs voice is shot and Richie on Bon Jovi tours at least as been sloppy for a while, with or without him this tour would have sucked.

Bullshit. Richie was awesome on the last tour and looked in great form before he left this tour. Look at how much most people here were raving about his performance on the live stream just before he left.

Well I disagree, he is now and was on the first leg a shadow of his former self. I admit he improved from some of the washout shows he did and he was certainly more into it, but he wasnīt blazing it on guitar like he used too. Some people (I am not saying you are one) think him showing passion is enough, and that playing a muddy mess of notes is him back to his best, I think purely from a guitar players perspective, and in my opinion he has been on a steady decline since Crush.

It reminds me of Aftermath, an album I sort of dig but donīt love. yeah it had a few solos here and there (nowhere near as much as he made out it would have though) but none of them were amazing solos, and yes I even include the outro to Seven Years which seems to make everyoneīs knickers wet.

This isnīt a taking sides thing either, Jon is even more shit and neither of them have an excuse really.

What I will concede and I sort of ignored it in the post above by flippantly saying the tour would be just as bad is that with Richie there the energy would have been different, so yeah the tour may have been better.
