Not quite dead yet... In 2012 released an album with some great tunes. IF he is sober, maybe we can watch him play well on this "tour".

Commercially dead. But I think it is artistically alive. Richie is irregular in live shows. I expect a decent recovery.

remember this? Explosion intro.

Better than Jon now.

If he'll be sober i'm sure the shows will be great, just like the ones from 2012, hell he can drink a little bit but being sloppy drunk or high really kills performance.

vs

You can clearly tell that he was actually sober and enjoying himself on stage, I just love the moment at 9:18 when he wants to close the song but the fans keep on singing Wooow and he looks so happy and surprised.

In 2014 he looked like a fat sloppy drunk mess who was clearly suffering from emotional pain and tried to act happy and cool...

I would really love to see Richie do his own thing without Orianthi and just perform and really enjoy himself instead of being drunk and acting like an old hippie rock star.

I was thinking that Doc called them - trying to get them some exposure. They have not had large audiences for just their shows to this point. He does know Paul Rodgers and has done Bad Company covers so maybe out of respect for him, he'll keep it together but 2014 with the duet was poor at best. Most opening acts are not paid well - its about trying to find an audience.

They will play 8 and 10 of July in São Paulo, Brazil.
Bought tickets for the 8th, the 10th one is a free show. I am hoping Richie will not be a drunk mess, like he was in 2014.

Ingressos do show do @TheRealSambora já estão com promoção 75% off em Porto Alegre. Mas tá indo bem a carreira solo do desertor, viu?

@TheRealSambora Concert tickets are 75% off promotion in Porto Alegre. But it's going well the solo career of the deserter, have you?

I'd love for Richie and Orianthi to do a webcast of one of their shows.

yeah, it's true. You have to put the code RSOPOA2016 in the site to get the 75%. I don't know if who already bought can get a refund...but the initials prices were ridiculous!
