The REAL "reality" is that it's THE PROMOTER who pays the "artist, band fees and other substantial costs" with money that THEY either own or borrow from sponsors or investors. Those expenses are supposed to be paid for LONG before the performance date. And you do NOT pay those expenses out of ticket sale revenues for what should be a brutally obvious reason:
in the event of a cancellation, ticket sale money must be refunded!

was monitoring the situation and realized that as long as you couldn't pay anyone but Jon, there couldn't be a show. (I wouldn't be surprised if they set things up with Rogers Arena weeks earlier.) They knew the fecal matter was going to interface with the rotating air circulation device, and they just left you out there to twist in the wind!
