Default Richie says he will rejoin Bon Jovi for just one show

in an interview for a brazilian tabloid, he said that he talked to Jon recently and that all is well between them. Also, he added that he will rejoin the band, but just for a special one-off performance.

Here's the link in portuguese.

Interesting Quotes:

" I talked to him [Jon Bon Jovi] a few weeks ago. It's all right between us. No hard feelings. We will return one day, maybe for a special presentation," says Sambora to UOL , in a telephone interview.

It will be just "one thing at a show only, a charity festival, something like that."

"I've been in the band for 30 years. And, honestly, I was not feeling very inspired by the way that music was going. It was something different from what I wanted," says the musician, who credits the exit on routine recordings and uninterrupted touring."

It's what I've been saying all along... Bon Jovi has become the JBJ / John Shanks show... Jon's just writing boring songs to fit his boring voice. They lack energy & passion. It's digitized choppy overproduction... The end result isn't horrible, it's just not the Bon Jovi that brought most of us all here...

Although I don't condone the way Sambora left the band, I also don't blame him for doing so... He should have finished the last 6 to 8 months of the tour and then left... He would have saved a lot of fans if he did so...

I guess that the rock star way of going on strike...

RS - Do one more show yeah?
JB - No
RS - so thats a maybe?
JB - No
RS - Cool, that would be good
JB hangs up
RS - Jon? Jon? Strange. Well at least theres that one off to look forward to!

Mental.

So would I.... and still using this line - . "We had two weeks off in 30 years." Something could be lost in translation but not the first time a similar remark has been made.

Except that's not what he's saying at all, is it....

He's basically saying that he's sure he will play a show with them again one day down the line, but it would just be a one off, he wouldn't go back full time....

It's not like he's begging to do another show, and judging from his other quotes in the interview it's not high on his list any time soon....

Agreed with the above. People are making it sound like he's saying there's a show lined up. Sounds like he's saying if he were to ever play with the band it'd be a one off, probably for charity or something.

If they'll ever be inducted into the Hall of Fame they'll probably appear together one more time. I guess he was referring to something of that kind.

Morbid way of looking at it.
