Some of u guys here need to get a grip on this whole voice thing, yes his voice is not the same as it was back in the day, but that is what happens when u get older, now don't give me the same crap about other musicians his age or older that have better voices and sing better, that is them, they are not Jon. You're chatting shit, sorry. I agree that SOME people do go over the top and I do wonder why they still visit this page BUT the majority of us are correct. You can't say that Jon sounds good in any video from 2014 onwards. Even most of 2013 at a push. It is painful to listen to him sing songs now.

Not everyone is a hater, they are just being honest. I have been a fan since 2000. I praise the band whenever I can if I think they deserve praise but I am also very negative if they don't deserve it and he certainly doesn't deserve any praise here. He sounds terrible and I know I could find 9 people out of 10 who would sing these songs better than Jon now.

Please take off the Jon tinted specs and realise people here are fans of many, many years and have seen many, many shows and are being critical of something they love. This isn't junior school "You can't be a fan" "You must be a hater" type nonsense, this is grown adults discussing the state of Jon's voice, and surely no-one with ears can listen to the performances from 2015 onwards and not at the very least be disappointed and concerned. There's struggling to hit the high notes in difficult songs, which is fine, but there's completely failing to hit most notes is simple songs that is concerning. I would be embarrassed to take anyone to a show where he sung like he did in the middle east.

As has been said numerous times, we as fans discuss the minutiae of Bon Jovi past present and future. There's good and bad here and as an adult you need to remember that everyone has different opinions, but everyone here loves the band and wants them to do well. To shut down peoples perfectly valid opinions just because they don't match your "I love Jon" ideals is pretty childish. As someone who has seen nearly 30 shows and been a fan for 22 years, I think I and many others have a right to call out when something isn't good enough and it doesn't make us less of a fan for discussing it amongst other fans.

Lol I didn't know that my post would piss someone off so bad . I think this is the very first time i made such a post. As I've said, I love the band very much and somewhere deep down i still hope that Jon will get his voice back someday .

I'm sure he'll sound great on the studio songs just like he did on BB, I am 100% sure he can't pull off a song like I'm Your Man or Who Would You Die For live in 1 take.

Let's get back on the topic since it's no use in fighting over Jon's voice, it is what it is, he is still Jon Bon Jovi but his range is gone as much as I hate to admit it. I really hope that he'll improve somewhat until the beggining of the tour because if he doesn't I can't even imagine how bad he'll sound by the end of it. I mean if he sounds that bad at the beggining of the tour can you imagine how he will sound after 60 shows?

Other songs surfaced from that Bob Kraft birthday party and Jon sounds somewhat decent on the TLFR Bad Name rendition.

Easier said than done but Jon go through his entire collection and apply different arrangements, figure out what works and what doesn't work and that should be his final set... hit song or non hit song it shouldn't matter anymore... Bad Name is to the point where it's so not enjoyable anymore, what's the point. He should stick to the TLFR version... He makes it fun because he's got confidence with that vocal rendition and that works...

Literally no one goes to a Bon Jovi concert to hear stripped down renditions of songs like You Give Love A Bad Name. No one would enjoy that in an arena or stadium setting, and everyone would be confused the first half, then bored the second half

I agree. The TLFR versions bombed so hard on the HAND tour and to say that the current version of Bad Name isn't working...I'd wager that it's one of the few songs in the set that will always give a huge boost. Changing the arrangement to one of the bigger hits would be stupid.

Maybe but they've done half acoustic / half rockin sets in the past... it might be time to go back to it... He'll always be able to get away with the IML / HAND / WGIGO clones... And the Who Says / Lost Highways but his 80s / 90s power ballad hits might need to be TLFR style or just an acoustic rendition.

I'm worried about this tour.

You and me both. There's just songs they can't mess with, TLFR divided people hard. But he's even struggling with HAND. I don't know what he can do to fix things.

Hire the lead singer of Bounce, have him sing the songs from somewhere behind the stage and just mime to the music. Would at least be the best sounding solution
