Call me pessimistic, but I don't see another world tour happening. Judging by the end of the 2013 tour and the recent performances, it's pretty clear that Jon has given up on whatever singing techinique he had left (he never had much, buuut…)in order to try to hit notes that aren't even high. He has to make an unhuman effort to sing Capt Crash, Because We Can and many other songs that were very ease on his vocals until 2011. The result is that unbearable thin nasal tone and a very painful time for him. He can't even shake maracas during KTF anymore.

A lot of people here are very hopeful that he'll get a good vocal coach and solve his vocals issues, but's that's not possible anymore. What happened between 2006-2008 is a completely diferent process to what we have today. Back then, he had already lost his upper range, but he used some techniques that made it possible for him to go higer using his lower range, which was still there. That's why he sounded diferent but was able to do wonderful performances between 2008-2011. But now it's pretty clear that his lower range is gone too. No matter how hard you train, you can't run without your legs.

If only Jon wasn't so addicted to money, he could do some one-off's acoustic intimate performaces in order to say goodbye to his loyal fans. But no, he's going for another 100 shows in one years singing like an hyena having an orgasm, which will make the situation even worse.

I get the pessimistic feeling, but your post doesn't make sense. First you say that another world tour won't happen, then you end the post saying that a 100 show tour is likely to happen....

Sorry for my confusion at the end. What I meant to say is that they will go for a world tour but I don't think Jon will be able to finish it.

Which is exactly what Jon said at the last Q&A so that makes sense.

Of course he'll finish it, nothing has happened that has made him not finish a tour. How he'll sound throughout the tour is another matter entirely. This board is way to dramatic....

Off course he will. Not once has Jon's shitty vocals forced him to cancel shows or tours.

Even when he has hay fever and could barely make noise in the Sofia show, he still kept going.

This site is just a fan page. Just a rehash of old news, I'm afraid. We'll have to wait until the next Runaway with your money (so you can't ask for a refund) gig for updated info

Just saying

I never can understand the "we hope to be on the road by..." talk. Can't say I've ever heard a band use that expression so much. I think it's Jon just trying to add hype. How can a band of that size not be able to sit down and decide when to tour?

There's about 10 seconds of IML from a private gig yesterday posted on the Bon Jovi Updates facebook page. I can see why they are so undecided when to start the tour, those few seconds were a horrible few seconds of vocals....
