Maybe it would be something like this:

2016
*September - New Album THINFS
*September until December - Promo tour.

2017
* February until May: tour in arenas and indoors.
* June-July: Festivals
* September until -----????: Stadium Tour.

Maybe Jon plans to do something like U2. Touring on a small scale indoors, and later jump in stadiums. It would be great also that had another album in the breech to launch the following year.

Yes -- which gives reason to suspect that either Tico misspoke or the reporter misunderstood him. Here's a translation of the entire interview with Tico:

Maybe Jon will undergo some sort of vocal surgery or therapy that forces them to delay the tour that far back in order to give the voice time to heal.
Yeah I know...it's not gonna happen...

That is so naive as to say that maybe Jon will wait Richie for a year, while touring with orianthi.

I really hope that if the tour begins only in Septmeber 2017 Jon will do something about his voice till then. I really can't see him going through another tour with 60+ shows, the guy will lose his voice forever and probably drop dead on the stage right then and there.

Of course i'm exagerating but seriously now, how the hell can he go through another tour when he he's struggling with singing BWC acoustic. He always gets pissed at the band members when they make a mistake because they compromise the show but with his current voice the whole freaking show is compromised.

I probably sound like a Jon hatter but i'm really not! I love this band so much and I hate seeing it go to shit, that's why i'm so pissed off.

Doesn't Sept 2016 make more sense if that's when the album drops? Tour and album coinciding?

I mean, they even started the BWC tour ahead of the release of WAN.

I can't see them touring an album a YEAR after it's release. That makes zero sense.

It'll probably also follow the usual trend of lots of new songs being played in the US arenas to the sound of crickets or mass piss breaks and them pretty much all being gone by the time they get here, although I hope not.
Tickets would have been on sale a while if it was this Sept.

Odd that the album is out this sept but no tour until next Sept unless they are doing some small shows to promote album.
