Your Mama don't dance and your Daddy don't rock'n'roll.

Just a question, but in the book of Ice, what is a legitimate reason for insulting people?

And for the record and for the final ****ing time, my original post was not meant as a personal attack on any individual or group of individuals. It was merely to say that the elevation of Def Leppard and Poison above Cheap Trick was a sign that the world doesn't value talent and collectively (the world) would be better off if people asked for more from their entertainment dollar.

I'm done talking to you. What the hell's to gain?

Again, insults and irony. From YOU.
For the record I grew up on Poison. I have CC Deville's autograph in the draw next to me. I even bought the Samantha 7 album. They are still juvenile, drunken frat boy shit or whatever the hell I said.

No need to take things so ****ing personally, dude. For the Iceman, you're remarkably un-chilled out.

But then again, seeing what you like, you probably wouldn't know a good song if it bit you in the ass. Which is why you have to justify your taste by putting down others. A classic sign.
Iceman, I don't want to get into another argument with you, but surely that goes against everything you're berating BeExcellent for?

Read what you quoted. Not in one sentence did I say YOU were anything. You read into it what you want, but it's there in plain writing.

There are very few. But if someone insults me, I can give it back just as well.

In YOUR OPINION. And still, it doesn't justify you calling others idiots.

Nothing.

No, you said that people were idiots for liking them. Which, it seems, means that you are too.

I've taken nothing personally, except your straight-on insults. And like I said, your sayings or doings have about as much impact on me as an ant has on the orbit of the Earth.

Yeah, it does. It was a deliberate attempt to get him to acknowledge what he does is wrong. But, he didn't fall for it, but as he dismissed everything else in that post as well, I'm pretty sure he just couldn't come up with a good argument for his actions.

i have every right to say what i think is shit and i what i think is not. People might not agree, and they have every right to argue thier point back.

I have never called someone an idiot for not agreeing with my opinion.

There are LOTS of contrasting opinions on many subjects on this board, it's what makes for some good discussions.

Yes, opinions are good.

You "100% agree":d with someone who did. That pretty much means the same.

Yes, and that's the way it should be. But it's not ok to attack someone because of their opinion. Or call them idiots or retards.
