I think the Teardrops solo is played by Bobby. It reminds me of his style of soloing.

The whole mood of the songs kinda reminds me of It's Just Me, so it is possible that Bobby is playing the solo.
Anyway I'm so happy right now...I never thought a new BJ song would get me so hyped up.

Bobby didn't play on 'It's just me'. Or at least not the solo. Go ahead, look it up, I was surprised also, cause the solo to that one is just so Bobby.....

Mmmmmm, well. Interesting.

Teardrop to the sea gets much better for me in the second half. Jury is still out for me though. There is something of a destination anywhere feeling about it which I like but I think it takes a while to get started.

As for blind love. Pahaha. That's all you need to say really.

I agree with all the DA references to Teardrop... Also Blind Love has a Cold Hard Heart feel to me.

Been so jammed up at work haven't had a chance to listen to these songs but any comparison to DA songs is a big PLUS for me!!

Just a couple of points...

Did Jon say there were a couple of new songs on Burning Bridges?

Also what Shanks said about all being new...we know they're not but do we think they're newly recorded?

Jon said said it was hint at the new music direction so were they re-recorded with this in mind?Like when Diamond Ring was re-recorded for These Days to fit musically.
