I loved both We Don't Run and SN/SM, but these two songs are probably among the worst I've heard come out from the Bon Jovi camp. Real sleeping pills, can't see any person wanna listen to the rest of an album that starts off with Teardrop to the Sea. I get what Jon is trying to build up with Teardrop, but it's just a very dull song.
Blind Love on the other hand is just pure crap. Real shame, after the two singles I thought this could be a killer album.

Jon voice in Cold Hard Heart is very inspiring, but Blind Love is ... quite the opposite.

Teardrop feels ok... but not killer.

That sounds so fantastic, but it will not happen, expect something like Pictures of You would be the sensible thing.

Jon said said it was hint at the new music direction so were they re-recorded with this in mind?Like when Diamond Ring was re-recorded for These Days to fit musically.
Beyond 'We Don't Run', we don't really know which ones are really "new" as in newly written. Shanks comments about the songs being new isn't wrong either, the songs are newly recorded, even if they started writing them years ago. And when Jon says that some of these songs are 8 to 10 years old, he's not wrong either, since if they started working them years ago he doesn't really see them as "new". It could be seen either way, but me, I tend to see things from Shanks' point of view, if I started writing a song in 2000 and finished it in 2015, that's a 2015 song....

Default Bon Jovi "Fan Album": Burning Bridges- Out 21 Aug

One new song. We don't run. Going by people comments on new songs I can see why JBJ wasn't fussed about the release. People, no matter how you tell them, will say this is a new Bon Jovi record even though it isn't. I have a feeling it's gonna be crap bar WDR.
They weren't released for a reason - ie not good enough.
It's not like the New Jersey songs cos the band were at their peak of writing then so they were always going to be excellent.

SNGMSM - 6/10 (overall bland, but catchy chorus)
WDR - 6/10 (energetic, but it lacks identity)
Blind Love - 3.5/10 (have no interest to even listen to this one again)
TTTS - 7.5/10 (chorus lacks energy, but in terms of atmosphere and texture, this one takes a lot of interesting turns)
