I am still enjoying this album also. It's still in my car going round and round and I have not had the impulse to eject it and fling it out the window There are several discs that I wanted to do that with LOL.

I love Fingerprints and Teardrop - I think because of the passion. Jon hasn't done much passion for us lately.

I'm glad it's available and these songs saw the light of day.

You know when you eat too much ice cream or chocolate and then tire of it?

Well that's kinda what I did with Burning Bridges. Played it a lot for the first week or so, then needed a break.

Think I'm just about ready for another listen. And maybe some ice cream too.

I kind of did that "too much ice cream" thing too for the first week. But after a few days, I was ready to listen to it again. It was just that I haven't enjoyed Bon Jovi album so much in so many years that I couldn't get enough of it at first so I OD'd myself. LOL

I knew there would be someone who'd understand my ice cream analogy.

So I played the CD a few times over the last couple of days and here's my current opinion:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE: Teardrop, Who Would You Die For, Fingerprints
LIKE: We Don't Run, Saturday Night, I'm Your Man, Burning Bridges
OK: We All Fall Down, Blind Love, Life is Beautiful
SKIP: none

My copy arrived from CDJapan this week and I'm genuinely liking it. I gave in and listened to the snippets on iTunes a few weeks back and thought it was gonna be mostly boring, but listening to the album in full was much better. "Teardrop...", We Don't Run" and "Who Would You Die For?" are stand-outs right now, "Blind Love" (a song I originally said wouldn't rush back too) and kind of grown on me. On its own, it's somewhat forgettable, but within the album it's quite nice.

The second half of the album is a bit of a blur to me right now but I did find the title track to be rather funny, if an obvious tongue in cheek middle finger to you-know-who.

Hehe, I just heard Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning on one of the biggest radio stations in my country, while I was cooking some omlette. I got really hyped up when I turned the radio on and the first thing I heard was a new BJ song that has gotten 0 promotion. After the song stopped playing they even mention that it's from Bon Jovi's latest album Burning Bridges which was released last month.

Got my copy on now actually... I'm still rather keen on the record, like all the songs but weakness lies in "We All Fall Down" and "Life is Beautiful" must be WAN knock offs because to me they are shite, speaking of WAN I think I've listened more to "Burning Bridges" then I ever did to WAN, I do find it ironic how for me this is a strong bunch of songs that will (most likely) never see the light of day with regards to live performance. "I'm Your Man" is catchy as hell and is great!

I don't remember 3 songs of What About Now making it to Spotify's most played songs 5 weeks after the release.

Seems like Burning Bridges is getting some love.
