thats where I'm at. The weak tracks (fingerprints and blind love) are really poor but where good the album is really good

Funny, for me, especially Blind Love is one of the strongest tracks on the album, if not the last couple of years. Sure, it's probably "weak" from a musical standpoint, but the lyrics and transported emotions are just awesome IMO.

If we live in a world where Fingerprints and Blind Love are the weak tracks, it's a great time to be a fan.

For me the band haven't wrote a great ballad since These Days era.
Fingerprints and Blind love are up there with TYFLM and other bland songs.

That's ok, to each his own. I also don't consider Blind Love a ballad in the style of Bed Of Roses, In These Arms or whatever. More along the lines of Make A Memory, which is also "bland", but great in it's own way. It's just a different kind of song, but very well delivered and I just happen to love it

Wouldn't mind a great, typical BJ ballad, or rockier songs too, though, but am more than happy with this album, even more considering Jon doesn't even consider it a real album

Me too. The best ballads of recent years, Make a Memory and Bells of Freedom.

"Where are you going to go?" he says with a laugh. "There are only two other places."

So, he's going either to Sony or Warner, it seems.

Or neither. Which is still my bet.
