I was able to take an early listen to Christmas Isn't Christmas today.

It's pretty good and has a gorgeous melody. That's really all I have to say about it. I'll add it to my personal Christmas playlist going forward.

I miss Jon's powerful vocals so much.

Just listened to it, from NZ. Wow, this is the least bon jovi bon jovi song we've had in such a long time! There are some powerful rasp to it too. Jon voice isn't great, but he's giving it his all! Very impressed.

There is one backing vocal in the last part of the song that doesn't seem like it's Jon. And still something weird in the vocal mix. Either it was spliced together almost word by word, really multiple takes laid over each other (and not perfectly matching) or some weird technology. Especially on some of the "s"-sounds, you can hear some strange echo coming back.

I wouldn't necessarily say it was powerful but definitely some nice rasp on certain parts.

2020 varied a little between songs. Is it more similar to Let It Rain/Story of Love or Luv Can/Shine? I'm talking about sound and production, not style.

And....

Do you think we can use it as a reference for the new album, or do you feel like it's something quick for the occasion?
